Disappointing Experience with Slow Results and Limited Diversity I recently visited this psychology practice for testing, and unfortunately, it wasn't a great experience. While the testing itself was fine, the process of getting my results was incredibly slow. I had to wait an unreasonably long time without much communication, which was really stressful. I had to reach out several times just to get an update on where things stood. What also stood out, and not in a good way, was the lack of privacy. I noticed that there were students standing behind the reception desk during my visit, which made me uncomfortable. They were in plain sight, and it felt like my personal information and conversations weren’t being handled with the confidentiality I would expect from a professional setting. This really impacted my sense of privacy, which is crucial when I visit a doctors office. Additionally, I couldn’t help but notice the lack of diversity among the staff. I only noticed one doctor of color at the practice, and the rest of the providers were white. Given this lack of diversity, I can’t help but assume that cultural sensitivity may not be a primary focus here, which could have impacted the way my results were interpreted. It is my understanding, that different backgrounds are crucial, it’s disappointing to see such a homogenous team, especially in this day. Overall, while the testing itself was okay, the slow results, the lack of privacy, and the lack of diversity really left me feeling unimpressed. I hope the practice can address these areas for improvement moving forward.
I would love to leave a comment on Ph. Dr. Robert L Rider's performance. As an observer , I noticed that his patient <__> was heard. The patient was understood. The patient was provided with a support. Doctor Robert , one my memory, was always using very specific and correct words while taking .. That was at the same time emphatic (enough) and professional.. I appreciated, Doctor, your patience is brilliant ..and kindness It is a performance! Zaakirah Farnum is a very special member in the team , I would love to empathize her energy output as first. Intelligent ,quick and responsible. She was always there when we needed. We all know, how important It is. Evaluating Diversified Psychological Resources as excellent from the beginning to the end✅ THANK YOU!
Great experience ! The team is professional, kind, and truly supportive. Services are thorough and helpful, and the environment is welcoming. Highly recommend for anyone seeking mental health support.
Kristy’s ability to actively listen, ask thoughtful questions, and give me perspective on my emotional state has been invaluable. Thank you so much and I highly recommend contacting this practice if you need to talk to a therapist.
Communication was a bit spotty but eventually things were managed and resolved. Thanks Diversified for your help.
Kristy is the best therapist I’ve ever met. She is insightful and compassionate and I would recommend her to anyone
I was a bit hesitant to visit this place because of the reviews, but I got my evaluation early when I told them I needed it by a specific date. They were super helpful and easy to reach out to. I’m not sure if the business has changed, but they were incredibly kind and easy to work with in my experience!
Stay away from this place!! Seriously do not waste your time. After waiting 4 months for an appointment to be evaluated for ADHD and Autism, I was administered 8 hours of testing by a student and a resident (I only talked to the actual neuropsychologist for a couple minutes in person). The tests were so childlike and awful too. The whole process felt very degrading. They told me I would get results in 8-12 weeks. After waiting 15 weeks, I called, and they said the neuropsychologist is out and they couldn’t tell me when she would be back, if ever. I got my results after 17 weeks of waiting and they were insane!! There were so many inconsistencies. There were so many tests that, in my opinion with their percentiles and numbers, indicated ADHD and Autism. They invalidated all of my concerns and all the tests by saying the signs and symptoms I displayed of ADHD and autism are due to chronic medical conditions (that they implied were psychosomatic, which is a whole other thing that made me angry), and from anxiety and depression. I feel so wronged. I wasted seven months of my life now I have to find a new neuropsychologist for a second opinion. Don’t waste your time!
Very kind people, but I’ve been waiting 2 months for my psychological test results. This would be fine if it were anticipated - but I was told I’d receive them early February. I was then told that they sent the results and that I should check my junk folder. I called and asked them to send again and was told to check, again. This went on for over a week, until I learnt that they actually haven’t processed my results and that I’ll have to wait until the end of this week for my results. We’re almost to March. I expect, based on the other review here, that this date was a lie and I might not get the results until April or May - and that the results will be useless and I’ll need a second opinion anyways. If I do get them within the week, I’ll gladly increase my rating to a 3 from my current 2.
They took like 4 months to complete my evaluation report. When I finally got my report (only because i was constantly calling), there was a lot of inconsistencies like it was thrown together. This was a terrible experience for me and would not recommend. I ended up going somewhere else for a second opinion and a much better experience.
