I just called to schedule an appointment, the representative by the name of *Kevin* answered the phone around 6:45 AM. He was unprofessional, rude, impatient then claimed my phone went "in and out". When I requested a manager as well as the next representative on call magically he could hear me just fine. He sounded under the influence or tired. His tone of voice and demeanor were loud & negative. That is not the tone of voice or disposition I expected to hear especially as a potential new patient seeking services. Regardless to what the circumstances were his tone of voice and demeanor were very uncalled for.
I'm disappointed at CBH for allowing Beacon Point to milk funding. They take in those they assume to be homeless and than wait 4-5 weeks before getting them recovery /sober living placement. They than put in for extensions that way they get more funding. Guys sit there, no rec, no visits, phones are used after 6 pm thereby blocking clients from taking care of any personal business. It's worst than prison....someone has to step up n make difference.
They lie to you. They won't protect you from your clinic jumping you. They just push the problem under the rug and tell you to go f yourself. Not 1 person there cares about the clients. Not one person even tries to help the clients. They only listen to the head people of the clinic your at and listen to there lies and take there lies as the truth. Kevin Howard never calls you back or does any of the supervisors. When you have a complaint they won't call you to ask what happened and always blame the clients. This place should be shut down. And each person in the quality control department needs to be under review to see if they even do work or deserve there job. CBH only protects the clinics not the clients at all. It's all about money so there basically best friends making sure each other stays in business and money keeps flowing.
Imagine someone telling a person missing a leg that prosthetic makers are doing the right thing by refusing to take their money for a prosthetic due to the man being on medicaid. Thats what i was told about my condition when I asked about a similar bizarre problem i am encountering. The supervisor answered my question but injected her opinion twice, by saying it was for the best. As though that helps me. Imagine telling someone who needs treatment to sustain employment, that hes too poor so providers dont want to take his money when they find out and YOU think thats how it should be. How is he supposed to MAKE MONEY and financially better himself, if you keep that opportunity out of reach? That kind of interaction is a slap in the face on top of a health care system thats already a bad joke in a mediocre hellscape that wont care for you if you have unseen disabilities. its sad. CBH will provide for you if you are neurotypical, kiss any understanding of your medical issues goodbye if you arent.
There’s a 6 month wait for ABA services... CBH assigned my son my autistic non verbal son with two different agencies (I.N.T.E.R.A.CT & Laila’s Way) who did nothing but play phone tag with me. It should not take 6 months for any services when virtual/platforms like zoom exists. I made two complaints against the agencies and wanted my son removed from the list. Nobody asked for my son’s medical record of his diagnosis (Autism Spectrum Disorder) from our home state NJ. The services is poorly managed and the audacity of them to keep trying to persuade me of continue the service with the 2nd agency. What services if the they never started? CBH called me mid-January for the agency to reach out to me and they finally did 2 weeks later. As of late March, the services hasn’t started which is why I am not allowing my son to be delayed more after residing in Philadelphia for 1 year 1/2. I’m over this unprofessional, dysfunctional system. Covid should not be the reason for any special needs child to be delayed like this. This is what happens when parents of special needs child/ren go through. It’s ridiculous!
They force addicts to take medication…they deny rehab for people UNLESS THEY AGREE TO TAKES SUBS! That is very unethical. I know that I have “welfare insurance” but I still expect to be watched out for. I was recently looking to get treatment for the second time in 2 years, CBH denied me but will approve people who have been in 10+ times. CBH also denied me a much needed detox even though I definitely needed it, they told me I can just go straight to rehab and I had a seizure, if you have CBH, be careful, they are after money and are willing to sacrifice your life to get it.
Called looking for a therapist as I’ve been dealing with a cancer dx. The young lady answered the phone laughing and then as I begin disclosing to her why I wanted to speak with a therapist there was more laughter in the background. Unbelievable! I’m used to working and having great health benefits. if CBH is all Medicaid has to offer I need a plan B
CBH is the worst. I've been calling them since last year to get my son some help. When you call them they don't tell you much but that someone will call you back. Left messages for someone named Ebony. No return call. When I finally get an appt they give me the wrong appt so that means (single mother) takes off work which I can't afford so for the inconvenience they told me to call back to make another appointment which would now have to take another day and the appt that was scheduled wrong will not be until months from now. Better business bureau will be notified. They system suck. Anyone else out there similar to CBH?
I give 0 stars. Every service I needed from cbh they have denied and offered to pay for services I did not need or want. Like why are these people in behavioral health insurance if they don't give two ***** about their clients need. CBH is making our community SICKER not HEALTHIER. I've been on the street and doing well for myself and they give me the goaround for every housing application I sent. All my trouble following their guideline perfectly for two months and I have gotten nothing but ignorance and attitude in return.
Horrible! I've been trying to get help for months now! I need mental help as well, but they tell you in crisis center that if you say you're suicidal they won't help you!! So they keep sending me to one dump after another where no one could care less! No one listens to you,They just talk down to you every chance they get!!! So i tried to get helplast nite.Explained i was on heroin and wanted to detox! I was told i wasn't getting a detox because i said i was suicidal!!!!! All they offered was a23 hour bed!! What is that going to do for me??? Shouldn't you want to detox someone who wants to kill themself even more????!!! The whole system is bull****!!!! Soi find myself back with myself! Alone And every time you try to explain what happened to CBH,they'll just tell you that whatever you're telling them didn't happen, that that doesn't go on at this place orthat!!! We're just preaching to deaf ears!!!! Something needs to be done!! Someone needs to help,God willing!!!! Screaming for help!!!
