Dr. Evan Vida delivers high quality, collaborative, and compassionate CBT-based psychotherapy! I have referred multiple patients to this practice and to Dr. Vida specifically because I trust that the quality of care patients will receive for OCD and other anxiety related concerns will be top notch and evidence-based. Dr. Chazin is a thoughtful and competent Psychologist with extensive expertise treating anxiety, OCD, and trauma/PTSD. He and his team use research-supported treatments to help improve their patients' lives. Dr. Chazin is a wonderful person and a highly skilled clinician - it's rare to find someone with his depth of clinical knowledge. You're in great hands at the Center for Anxiety, OCD, and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy!
I attempted to book therapy here and was ultimately ghosted. After initial contact, I was told my preferred availability wouldn’t work because staff were busy. I then said I was flexible and asked what availability they had. Despite following up more than once, I never received a reply. I understand practices are busy, but complete lack of follow-up - especially after I expressed flexibility - felt unprofessional. If you’re seeking a responsive practice, this may not be the right fit.
I enthusiastically recommend Dr. Daniel Chazin. I am a licensed clinical psychologist (CA, PA, NJ) in private practice. As a fellow specialist in OCD and anxiety, I have gotten to know him through our mutual prior affiliation and training with the University of Pennsylvania’s Center for the Treatment and Study of Anxiety. I have since thoroughly enjoyed seeing him at various local and national professional events and conferences, including listening to him give fantastic lectures. We have continued to collaborate and support each other in our practices, and he is such a kind, genuine, and supportive colleague. It is abundantly clear from both his training and experience, and through our discussions, that Dr. Chazin is incredibly knowledgeable, talented, and compassionate clinician. He stays abreast of recent research and provides excellent evidence-based care for people with OCD and anxiety. I am grateful to have Dr. Daniel Chazin as a close colleague. Thank you for the great work you do for your clients, your trainees, and for our field!
Dr. Bridget Brush is an absolutely phenomenal psychologist. She is incredibly kind, insightful, and deeply knowledgeable in her approach to treatment. She balances warmth and understanding with a highly structured, effective therapy style that helps patients make real, lasting progress. Her ability to connect with patients, tailor interventions to their needs, and guide them through exposure-based therapy is remarkable.
Dr. Chazin is my “go to” anxiety disorder expert when I need sage advice on a complex client or when I need to refer a client to a psychologist I truly trust. His knowledge base is both deep and wide and, importantly, is grounded in science. As Dr. Chazin expands his Center, I have no doubt that his colleagues will bring as much compassion, rigor, and expertise to their clients as he does.
I highly recommend Dr. Chazin and his practice. I am a fellow psychologist, and have served on the National Social Anxiety Center board with Dr. Chazin for several years. He is an excellent clinician with top quality training and experience in working with anxiety disorders. He is passionate about therapeutic work and has supported his colleagues through case consultations and by providing trainings. He stays up to date on the very best treatments that are available, and I have happily referred several clients to him over the years. I had the pleasure of presenting at a national conference with Dr. Chazin on a topic related to social anxiety; he was a great collaborator, and I'm sure that comes through in his work with clients.
Dr. Chazin is a wonderful clinician and colleague. He is smart and compassionate and really knows how to tailor evidence-based treatment the the needs of each person he works with. He is the kind of clinician who just gets it and he makes it easy to discuss even the most challenging of topics. The Center for Anxiety, OCD, and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy Is my go to referral for clients in the Philadelphia area. Thank you all for the work you do.
Dr. Chazin is an amazing psychologist! He combines the most effective methods for improving symptoms of anxiety, trauma, and OCD with genuine warmth, empathy, and humor. He is dedicated to providing the best care for his clients, and he is frequently going above and beyond to research and integrate the most up-to-date approaches to treatment. His excellent people skills, leadership, and organizational skills make me confident that the clinicians he has trained in his practice also provide top-notch care.
Dr. Chazin is a talented clinical psychologist, and he is SO smart. I am always impressed by the insights he has for how to approach complicated anxiety presentations. He employs treatments that work (backed up by science!) and shares his expertise by consulting with trainees and clinical professionals. I have no doubt that he is amongst the top 1% of the practitioners who treat anxiety disorders. He is outstanding!
