Dr. Spiegel is a thoughtful, compassionate, and caring psychologist. His comprehensive approach to consultation utilizing his experience and training allows one to gain useful and different perspectives to help those seeking out mental health services. His tremendous ability to develop a strong and safe working relationship is evident from the onset of working with him, and I would highly recommend him.
I have learned a great deal from Dr Spiegel -- especially in my most recent trainings with him, which focused on hypnosis applied towards attachment wounds and functional disorders/pain management. His style is very engaging and relational; he is inspirational to watch and experience in regards to demos concerning case conceptualization and clinical treatment. Dr Spiegel's expertise, wisdom, and demeanor have encouraged me to continue building my own skills as they relate to clinical hypnosis and its applications. 10/10 recommend his services and/or trainings!
Dr Spiegel is an innovative, and thoughtful clinician who I have had the pleasure of learning from, in many settings. I highly recommend any program that he is directing.
I've had the privilege of working with Dr. Capone in various settings over the past five years. Not only is she is one of the most knowledgable and well-informed clinicians I know, but she is warm, inclusive, and authentically herself. I cannot recommend her, and this practice, enough!
Dr.Shapiro is a truly compassionate and supportive therapist. She listens with empathy and makes you feel completely heard and understood. Her calm presence creates a safe space to open up and be yourself. I highly recommend her to anyone seeking genuine, caring support.
Dr. Alyssa Shapiro is an exceptionally warm, compassionate, and empathetic psychologist. From the very first interaction, she creates a safe and nonjudgmental space where patients feel comfortable, seen, and truly heard. Her deep knowledge and advanced training are evident in the thoughtful and insightful way she approaches every conversation. Dr. Shapiro brings a calming presence and genuine care that helps foster trust and openness. She is remarkably perceptive, able to help patients gain clarity, process difficult emotions, and move toward meaningful growth and healing. I have had the privilege of working with Dr. Shapiro on multiple occasions, and each time I have come away with a deep appreciation for her professionalism, integrity, and kindness. She is truly a gem in her field and I would wholeheartedly recommend her to anyone seeking a thoughtful, skilled, and compassionate therapist!
I am a psychologist licensed in CT and I attended a hypnosis workshop led by Dr. Eric Spiegel on 6-8-25, that was truly excellent! I hold a certification in clinical hypnosis from ASCH, so I have been to many trainings and this one was among the best!
Dr. Spiegel was extremely attentive, insightful, real, and calming. He offered mindfulness & meditative practices that have become life skills. Highly recommended to friends and colleagues who deal with job-related, or personal stresses, and want to address them head on with expert help.
I am a Clinical Psychologist and have attended 3 workshops or trainings given by Dr. Eric Spiegel on Hypnotic Induction for various psychological issues. He is a leader in the field of Hypnotic Induction and an outstanding presenter. His deep knowledge of both the process of psychotherapy and of hypnotic induction along with his empathy and compassion shine through. He is attentive to the needs of the attendees and organizes the workshop in a way that allows enough time for deep exploration of case material as well as opportunities to practice the skills we are learning. He's very accessible and responsive to questions and issues raised by the attendees. I highly recommend his workshops!
Dr. Spiegel is an excellent presenter on hypnosis for clinicians of all skill and experience levels - warm, inviting, well-informed, and able to present complex material in a very understandable and enjoyable way. The two workshops I have taken with him have both been very helpful to my psychotherapy practice as a psychologist.
