I went to AMHA for 14 years I was on 225 mg never had a EKG I got rushed to the hospital almost died because the dose i was on was high and it had my QTI intervals up to 700 the are suppose to be at 420 when I got out of the hospital the dr at the clinic never asked to see me to ask why they drop me to 150mg well in November I went and got a EKG on my own my QT intervals were 587 well instead of the dr working with me he drops me to 100 and to nothing I said you can't do that you can't detox me no and they knew no other clinic would take me because of that my daughter has the same thing and her clinic is working with her now AMHA sends it's patients for EKGs every month and if the need to be lowered they are working with them 14 years and they toss me out like a piece of trash and what is the worst the dr there would not even talk to me he talk to everyone else but not me yous are talking about my health and he could not talk to me so really with what they did to me I could of died I give them ONE STAR as far as the nurses and the counselors they are the best and the ones that worked there are the best I miss you all so much the DOCTOR THERE IS THE WORST I GIVE HIM A HALF STAR HE DOES NOT CARE ABOUT THE PATIENTS AT ALL IF ANYONE SHOULD OF BEEN PUT OUT IT SHOULD OF BEEN HIM.
The BesT, People Here Actually Care,& Help You. But Now I'm Getting Told That SomeThing Promised To Me By August 27th. Was Not Given They Let Me Down Big Time IDK Why I Was Lied To?! Why Did The SuperVisor Keep Her Word, Why Was It Now Taken Out Of The Computer? The Doctor Even Saw It In There On June 7th and Said Congratulations. Now Why Because The Counselor I Had Gotten Me The First 2 Take-Homes, & Set It Up For Me To Get The Other 2 By August 27th Left. So Now I Get A New 1 She Is AweSome But She Is New And Now The Same SuperVisor Changed Things No. I Was Promised 3Clean 2 Take-Homes, 3Clean More 2 More Take-Homes. I AM OWED THE 2 MORE AND I HAVE 34 MONTHS CLEAN. PLEASE DO WHATS RITE IDK WHAT I DID 4 YOU TO TREET ME THIS WAY!!
The Staff is Gret except the Dr I was going there for 5 years and missed 3 days and needed to get reinstated and he refused meet
They like to cut people behind there back for relapsing. They lied to me so many times telling me that I wasn't cut? 6 hospitalizations later they admitted what was going on. . Once again they don't take the blame! The worst methadone doctor I have ever dealt with, the other will actually work with you but I won't reveal names at this point. All my honesty and hard work did me nothing but pain. I still didn't use an opiate thou. Methadone is horrible, if your prepared to withdraw for months because you made a mistake and ate a benzo for you dad's funeral think again. I was so sick I had to go impatient. Chopped 130mgs now I'm on 60 and I'm still sick 4 months later while still drinking this poison. It does work but why the lies! Why the torment and torcher! The hospitals ! Thinking something was wrong with me mentally, and all along huge chops for mistake I would have corrected if I was counseled properly. Where is the trust? I'm actually arguing with now because they lost my last dose verification and I'm supposed to deal with a 30mg cut and wait til Monday, because they were to lazy to look for the paperwork, how much more can someone be set up for failure. Once again. I have admitted my mistakes to them why can't they admit there. As you can see my first review was excellent because I was blinded by fraudulence and tucked my tail between my legs.
Great Counselors that worry about your well being. Unlike other places they just go for the paycheck. Also they address you as PIR- Person In Recovery, not the Addict. My counselor is Brittany and I wouldn't change her for nothing in the ๐...
Thank God for everybody that works there. They save lives!!!!! If u are looking for help with an opiate addiction look no further!
Great clinic. Staff is amazing! Support always available. If you are looking for a no nonsense clinic, this is the solution for you.
Great staff. Great location. Great groups. If your looking for a rapid increase it won't happen here. The only issue I had was how long it took to get to a comfortable dose and after 6 week im still not at my blocker yet.
Great program, the people that work there really care. plus my therapist is awesome ๐
The therapist I have is great(noel ramirez)he has helped me find hope again and he has really helped me open up and discover things of myself that I never knew exsited, thank you noel!. The nursing staff, that's another problem all together, for one there are different rules everyday, they are not too quick when it comes to dispensing medication, there is no excuse why one has to wait an hour sometimes to recieve thier medication,I don't know! I don't like going there in the first place, then I have to wait upwards an hour sometimes,If not longer!.
