I’ve had a wonderful experience with my therapist. She’s been incredibly flexible, offering both Zoom and in-person sessions, and her scheduling was always so accommodating. She’s also incredibly understanding, and I really feel heard and connected in each session.
Shandalyn is absolutely awesome. She is so great at balancing support and challenge, asking all the right questions and giving great insight. I even find myself alternating between tears and laughter throughout the session. Every time I come out of an hour with Shandalyn, I'm reflecting on big takeaways. I've had a few therapists, and after just a few sessions I can already say she's the best one I've ever had!
In the short amount of time, she has been so welcoming and warm and also helping me see how to hold myself accountable and move through my trauma and seek out and find solutions. I could say so much more, but words cannot truly express how grateful I am to have found Someone who really listens and gives good direction with clarity showing her education and experience and also Genuine words of encouragement Helping me sift through emotion making sense of situations All the while encouraging action. If you’re going through something with your family with your work with your relationship and having trouble, I would definitely recommend giving her a try.

The way she does it never feels like an attack but more like an invitation to grow because of the safe space she creates, I’ve been able to receive accountability and actually apply it to my life. What I especially appreciate is how she weaves together faith and practical tools. She uses God’s Word to help soften my heart and shift my perspective, while also bringing in clear, scientific strategies that make sense and help me identify what’s really going on. Each session leaves me with both insight and practical steps I can take outside of therapy. She’s helped me connect the dots in ways I couldn’t on my own, and I truly feel supported and challenged in the best way.
