2 very uppity women came out while I was just sitting in the shade long enough to have a sandwich and drink and before I was even finished they came out to tell me to leave now that isn't necessarily a problem however seeing as they are a non profit that is supposed to be here to help the community I find it very discouraging I was looking into their services but after this experience it will definitely not be a place I go for help

Sunbeam Family Services & Childcare are the best. Short story- I had a TBI in Oct 23 a daughter a month after. She is at Edwards, one of their locations. Every member of Sunbeam has treated her (and me) like royalty. I HIGHLY recommend their services!

Couple questions: Are you guys a non-profit? How much did you guys spend to have the “DONATE NOW” ticker for an entire hour of Big Brother yesterday? Please respond. Seriously considering donating depending on the answers

I called to ask about their therapy services and not only will no on tell you the cost but the only thing it says about the cost of the services is a warning that if they charge you $400 over what you expect you may dispute the charges. Meaning not only will you not know the price but can be up to $399 dollars upcharged but you will not be able to dispute the charges. Terrible. Deceitful.

No OCD trained therapists. I told my therapist how I was having looping thoughts and felt like I had two brains. I had no idea what ocd was and my looping thoughts were being pushed to the side. I would have continued to waste time getting the wrong kind of treatment. My therapist with sunbeam should have recognized the signs and admitted she was not able to properly treat me. ERP IS THE GOLD STANDARD FOR OCD. Please consider training your professionals in ERP and ACT therapy, considering there is only 5 in the state of Oklahoma.

I have been going to Sunbeam for a couple of years now and have nothing but good to say about them! They are always here when I need them. Quick to return calls and answer questions. They have literally been a huge factor in saving my life over the last 2 years.

The organizational skills in this office are beyond terrible. I told them i needed my son to be seen before a certain date and they said that would be no problem (but apparently it was because they couldn’t find any availability until 2 weeks after that date) and that it would be $65 a session which is expensive but necessary so I went with it. I made the appointment once I got there they told me that i did not have an appointment scheduled with them that day. I was extremely frustrated but decided to reschedule for the next week. Now upon my second trip up to the facility i was told it would be a student with no certifications, no degree, and that it would be $100 a session which is very hard to pay $400 a month as a single parent. But they know I’m pretty desperate at this point so we went for a few months and the service was ok, the student was nice but had zero experience and she ended up leaving because she was a student and got her “clinicals” done. We decided to stop going because we didn’t want to start over with a new counselor(especially at a place with this many issues in the office) so now 2 months after leaving, I’m being told it’s $130 a session and i owe them from back sessions. I’m beyond disappointed with this place. I will tell everyone I know not to go here. UPDATE: One of the directors has reached out to me to apologize about the experience we had and wanted to make improvements in the areas that they were lacking. She listened to the issues i had and explained they had some turn over in the office during that time. She was willing to waive the additional fees and committed herself to fix the issues.

Sunbeam Senior shelter is a the best! The Case Manager Ms. Kim is very proffesional, she makes sure that the residents get the services they need by empowering and modeling how to advocate for themselves. The entire team makes sure that residents feel comfortable, by making sure that they eat, take their daily meds on time and all their daily needs are met. This team of people goes above and beyond for their residents! Thank you for being so caring, attentive and professional.

I have seen two therapists here and both were very kind, helpful, and my time wasn't wasted (or my money). The entire staff is friendly too each time I go in.
