Nick and the staff have been excellent. I have been going here for a couple of years recovering from 2 surgeries. They have always been very accommodating and listened to my needs as we worked towards my recovery. I highly recommend them!
The team at PT Central Midtown is incredible!! I was originally referred to the clinic by my GP to check in on a previous ankle injury and had no idea which provider I would be paired with, but I’m so thankful for Dr. Alex Larsson! She did an excellent job of making sure I understood my injury and its impact on my abilities, my treatment plan/why we were doing certain exercises, and preventative measures I could take in the future. Between her, the PTAs, some of whom would do the exercises with me (s/o to Tyler, Lance, and the rest of the team!), and the other doctors; they created a healthy, fun culture that not only kept me accountable but also made me look forward to challenging myself during my PT sessions. While being treated for my original injury, I was training for a half-marathon and unfortunately developed a hip injury that affected my mobility, I was experiencing significant pain from trying to do everyday tasks. Luckily I already had a stellar team that I trusted to work with and I was able to regain my full, balanced stride pain-free to get me confidently back into training and reintegrate more active hobbies in my life again. I can’t thank and recommend Alex and the rest of the folks at PT Midtown enough for their excellent care!
I have been working with Jacob and his expertise has helped me regain mobility. He asks about movements that cause me difficulty at home and we focus on my improvement in those areas as well as the exercises and stretches for my overall benefit.
-Staff is pleasant and scheduling is convenient, but billing is a concern and therapy is built off of physician recommendation anyway. -I went in for my initial evaluation, which consisted of measuring ranges of motion with a protractor. PT then asked what exercises surgeon/PA had cleared me to do- she said they could only do exercises cleared/recommended by the medical team. Then massaged scar tissue and used a pressure sleeve for swelling, and gave me a printout with stretches to do at home- entire encounter was 45 minutes, and I was told there was no copay for the visit. After being cleared, I was informed that it would be $100/hour long appointment after insurance and promptly canceled my subsequent appointments. -Three months later, I received a bill for $400 (because it involved a 'low complexity eval', 'manual therapy', 'exercises', and a 'vasopneumonic device' )for my initial evaluation. After calling, front desk told me that it was likely an insurance filing error by their third party billing service. Three phone calls and a weeklong service-order later, I was informed that they had managed to file properly and I still owed half of my original bill. -Staff is easy to interact with and helpful, but these are considerations I wish I had known going in.
Everyone here is so super nice and very helpful! I have gotten so much relief from my neck pain after coming to PT Central and it’s been really amazing to see my improvement. Álex has been super supportive and caring throughout, and the whole team is always upbeat and welcoming. Highly recommend this place!
I appreciate everyone for the wonderful services and care I received for getting my shoulder back to where I can function as normal, you guys really showed professionalism, understanding and love for people. I will always come to Midtown for my physical therapy because you are the best group of professionals I know, I love you guys blessings to you all. Keep up the great work, You Guys Rock.
This place has all of the cool toys and exercise aids a patient could ever want. The staff knows what to do and work like a well oiled machine. Alex is the most amazing Therapist. She really knows how to listen to your body and read the unspoken cues during your session. I’ve rotated through all of the therapist on staff and I can honestly say that this team is intentional with their attention to detail and care. The place is clean, efficient, and above all a fun atmosphere. I don’t really leave a lot of reviews, but when you get top notch treatment, I think that you’re responsible for acknowledging the work. Good job team.
Nick and Dustin are the two physical therapists that spent the most time with me helping to try and correct my leg with a really bad knee. I did proactive PT before my knee surgery and after. This has been going on for over 2 years time wise. Everything they did helped me get better, and I always recommend this location for anyone who needs PT. Lisa
I have been going to physical therapy for about 2 years now. It has been extremely helpful in my life. Dustin has been helping me as my physical therapist for part of that time and he has been incredibly smart and helpful. I have been there this long because my condition is not one that can be fully healed through exercise yet but it can be maintained with it and everyone there has been helping me maintain my strength. I really appreciate Lance, Reggie (he makes me laugh), Montana, Nick, Sarah, and all the others that have helped and will continue to help. I'm excited to go to physical therapy because I feel energised when I go. Everyone is so nice and make me feel better when I'm there. I could be having a bad day but when I go sometimes I'll either forget about my issues because I'm having so much fun exercising and laughing or they give very kind and helpful words of encouragement. They really take care of you above and beyond what is requested. I feel very cared for there.
Nice people. I liked my Tech personally and he seemed competent. That said, quality of service was poor all the way down. Techs overbooking is an issue. You hardly see them which leads to diminished QC as well as risk of injury from being left unattended or with an assistant that was unqualified IME. Point in case: I witnessed an elderly patient being wheeled off in a stretcher from being allowed to fall during a visit. A different tech facilitated that. Finally, after paying my bill in full, months later I receive a statement for services reflected as paid. The Billing Dept wants me to mail the ledger that I received digitally to a PO box in Dallas and call back in 3 weeks to check on it, like it's 1996 or something. There are far better options for PT
