We love Dr. Ihyembe! She has been seeing my daughter since 10/2023 and this has been the most direction guiding and knowledge for my daughter we have received. Anytime I have questions I message her nurse through the portal and within 24-48 hours get a response for Dr. Ihyembe herself or her nurse. We are so grateful for her!
Doctor is neither the best or worst. Being that my child is the patient, I would prefer a provider who I felt really listened and took the time to familiarize with the medical history in the file. I've requested another doctor there but was told no other provider was available. Clinic manager has been difficult to communicate with effectively on several occasions. I've received different information depending on who is answering the question - which unfortunately many people have become accustomed to when dealing with customer service reps on the phone, for example, but getting the run-around at a children's medical clinic run by the state's largest university is almost as surprising as it is disappointing.
