The people here are just outstanding. Wasnt easy having to come here, they made everything so much easier for my child and are super comforting !! They go out there way to help!!
This place is a miserable excuse for "family services", if you can get them to work at all it's a miracle. No one ever answers their phone, and no one gives 2 hoots about the children. They 100% want money and that is all!! Unfortunately finding anywhere else to provide these services is next to impossible. That's how they keep in business knowing they're the only show in town. Disgusting!!!!π‘π‘π‘
Would get 5 stars, because the staff is amazing, however, the volunteer in our room made the situation worse and actually tried to flex her control instead of just passing out toys and books.
If you need assistance, go someplace else. Horrid place, reminds you of the movie 'Brazil'. Miserable employees, not at all helpful. I needed assistance and was told I was missing information. What information you ask? So did I - and bless, they did not know. After an endless loop of calls, visits, promisef callbacks that did not happen... I gave up. Our tax dollars at work. Sad.
I had a bad experience, I took my little nieces to be questioned for a sexual assault case. The women smile in your face but the whole time be brewing to turn the investigation on you. They called children's services saying I was abusing the kids. Which was false. children services came out visited the kids no bruises, scratches or burns like they reported. My children services case was closed by weeks end.
This is the first place that I've been too associate with Nationwide Children's Hospital that has it together. They have been exceptionally helpful and courtious. Everyone I have encountered here has been compassionate and very professional. They take time to answer questions and concerns about my child's care and treatment plan. I am always given information that is helpful and they have worked with me to be as accommodating about scheduling as possible.
Security guard is always there. The receptionist Barbera is welcoming and discrete. The staff always are pleasantly greeting you when they come to get you. FREE parking! !!!!! Directly across from the main hospital.
Very friendly staff. Loved my therapist Gretchen Leonard. I have had severe depression for almost 8 years. I was severely suicidal and in and out of the hospital a lot. DBT saved my life. I can manage my own depression and use my skills that I learned while I was here for about a year. I HIGHLY recommend that your children come here.
It is a safe place for families to turn to when in crisis. The advocacy program has a wealth of knowledge and puts you in contact with the appropriate resources. Follow up services are beyond wonderful as well.
My son has came very far from where his was just from coming here. All of the staff are excellent. It is a great place to make your whole family feel safe and welcome in a time that is not so great
