Dr. Irma was my therapist for several years, and honestly, she’s the best therapist I’ve ever had in my life. I lost the privilege to continue seeing her due to a billing mix-up — a credit was sent to me in error, and when she needed it returned, I was in a financial hardship and couldn’t pay it back right away. I want to be clear that it wasn’t out of dishonesty — just a tough season financially. That said, this woman truly changed my life. I was referred to her by a friend, and it ended up being one of the best experiences I’ve ever had. To this day, I still burn Eucalyptus Spearmint candles in my home because they remind me of her office and that feeling of calm. Before Dr. Irma, I treated therapy like a break from work — I’d go for a couple months and quit. But after losing my brother, I started to unravel, and she helped me find myself again. When my dad passed, she was there to help me navigate that loss too. She has such a peaceful spirit — it almost feels magical. I’d walk in ready to spin out, and by the time I left, I could breathe again. I could face the next thing. She’s truly a once-in-a-lifetime kind of therapist. I haven’t had another since, and honestly, that sucks — but I still hold onto the tools she gave me. She absolutely deserves five stars and then some. Because of her, I know what healing feels like—and I’ll never forget it. I’ll never stop seeking it.
