Got ghosted and dumped as a client after the two initial appointments. Therapist argued with me about my Eating disorder, did not take me seriously about being in a bad mental state. I would have preferred to be just told that I wasn't a good match, or a warm handoff. They pushed me to pay the bill incessantly after dropping me as a client. 0/10 please go elsewhere
Great customer service! Although they do not have a therapist for children at this time, the receptionist, Kim, was extremely helpful and gave me a couple of suggestions for pediatric therapist near me. So very helpful, thank you!!!
Ms Kimberly is the BEST DOT.COM I REALLY APPRECIATE HOE SHE TAKES CARE OF ME AND STAY CONCERN & Ms Sherrill is the bomb as well I really appreciate these ladies so much making my day every time I see they face
I began seeing one of their therapists 6 months ago, it's been an uphill battle since day one. In time they've helped me through these battles with support and understanding. There has been many times I wanted to quit cause I felt the therapy wasn't helping, little did I know it takes time to figure it all out. I persisted and prevailed with their help. I wouldn't be where I am now if it wasn't for them and I can't help but say good things. Life is a wild ride and sometimes the right people can make that ride seem less chaotic, these folks were just what I needed. Thank you Open Arms and thank you Jack!
I just tried to schedule an appointment with them and the lady on the phone was very rude to me and I don’t need to deal with that with mental health right now in my life. Learn to treat people better when people are scheduling an appointment! Will definitely be picking a different place
They were unkind when I called and I don't need that in my life right now. Also, they do not accept Oscar insurance
Seen councilors my whole life. A therapist is who you want. I found my current therapist Asha here at Open Arms and she definitely knows what she is doing. Highly supportive, educated, creative and knowledgeable about her practice.. She's bubbling over with new ideas and skills for me to learn about dealing with my depression and anxiety and what she is teaching is helping to improve my mood. I searched around and interviewed a couple of other therapists only to feel disappointed. I'm glad I didn't give up and found Asha because my relationship with Asha as my therapist is an important part of my life and mental health now. Just feel like open Arms is a little hidden gem. All the staff do care and it shows.
Therapist let me know he wasn't sure why I was in therapy. Plenty of questioners to fill out at this place but no evidence they want to help anyone. The "hour" sessions are actually 50 minutes and you have to pay for the 10 minutes of prep time before your appointment. My therapist told me I should be grateful for the prep time otherwise he'd have to do all his meetings back to back. Because scheduling breaks interupts money being made by the company so can't have that.
My first therapist here left and didn’t inform me at all for weeks until I called, and the receptionist said she didn’t know she had left either. By the time I got in touch with a new therapist months had gone by. I really liked my new therapist, but she left too and was often late for our sessions. When she left, I had to wait a few weeks to be transferred to someone else. On the day of my new appointment with my new therapist, I received a call that said they were canceling my appointment because my invoice had not been paid. I had asked them several times to email me the invoice, yet I never received it. It was unfair of them to cancel my appointment the day of, and then make me wait three weeks until the next available opening. I feel worse after open arms counseling than I did before.
I want to start off by saying that we have felt so welcome. The lady at the desk is so nice. My daughter Olivia loves coming and looks forward to seeing her counselor. I highly recommend open arms❤️❤️To everyone. So professional, nice and welcoming.
