A family member went to Talbot Hall recently. He had been to several other rehabilitation centers, but said this was by far the best facility he has been in. He learned a great deal that he has put to very good use since he came home 6 weeks ago. I’m very grateful for the people that helped him and have made a huge difference in his life.

I went to residential this fall. The staff is just incredible. There is someone there for you 24/7. Only 15 beds so you really can work on your recovery with the smaller groups. They will help you with your aftercare program and after you leave will always be there for you if you need them.

I have been to rehabs that charge out of pocket and ones that take Medicaid. Talbott hall is among the best places to get treatment that take Medicaid. This place saved my life when I was at my lowest. Detox was comfortable and the out patient programs have been solid.

Talbot detox program , in my opinion, is second to none! The nurses are caring and understanding. My 5th floor counselor, her name escapes me , went above and beyond to help me. The php counselors were a tremendous help! A special thanks to Natalie for her group meeting while I was in detox. Natalie's group meeting inspired me to give php a try and it helped me (tremendously)with my sobriety. I would recommend this program to anyone needing help.

I've been to Talbot Hall 4 times I'm actually waiting on a a bed now. It's a really good place to detox the staff and nurses we're nice and caring always made sure I was comfortable and that I got my meds on time and anything else I needed . Hopefully this will be the last time I come here and I'll get it right this time...

It is a very tough situation to go through detox But the staff and everything I went through was very comfortable thanks to the great staff. Especially Dr. Teeter. Doug the counselor and Jennie and David. they made my stay comfortable and I would definitley recommend to detox at this facility. The only problem I had was the condiments for the dinners. Jennie knows how to fix that. thank you

My counselor never responded to emails or texts as a matter of fact he ignored them. Also was more concerned with other habits versus the one major reason I was there and that was to get sober. He basically ran meetings by his own personal script and I believe he had no experience with alcohol himself. His empathy seemed extremely fake. Seldom heard people.

The doctor is rude and not careing and has the worst bedside manner the first visit she told my family and i would be dead by the. End of the day forshure not she could that i would. And i really want help and everywhere has a long wait but there so i went in open minded and gave it a shot and so she tried to make me lay there uncomfortable said it was protocall and when i threatend to turn her in and got upset she said well i can help u at midnight and the facilty is dirty and the foods nasty the nurses are great.i left over it and i need help and its a shame when u cant get help and really want it and i dont know anybody who has had a success with them ill never go back and if u ask my opinion they need shut down or to get there act together they. Charge insurance alot for us to be there and thats another thing she told me that my insurance would not cover what i needed but when i stood up to her all of a sudden they would pay and she could help but not til midnight so i didnt trust my life in her hands.

People need to understand Talbot hall is a detox facility and not a rehab. And they should understand the difference. Their job at detox is to get you thru the the sickness when all the bad stuff s exiting your body which really only take 3 day but some people need a couple more day. They also set you up with a recovery plan. Thing you need to do upon release to keep in recovery. After that it's up to you to move on with your recovery if that means going to and in patient rehab out our patient services. What ever it is you choose to do after detox depends if you are going to use again or not. If you just detox and have no plans of recovery after then more than likely your are going to use or pick up. So people if you love ones have used or picked up after leaving Talbot hall it's not because the staff or Talbot hall itself aare not doing their jobs. It because them as addicts are not doing their job in recovery plain and simple. Talbot hall gets you thru the major part of being sick and all that stuff and they also give you all kinds of references to recovery it's our jobs to use them references!
