I have been seeing a therapist for a little over 4 years and it has helped so much. I have a better clearer understanding of myself and what I want out of life. I love the 24/7 support and how the therapist are easy to relate too. 100% recommend

I'm just getting around to writing this review, but back in November 2023 we started seeing Sara Bates. The first appointment went well, and the day of our second appointment she emailed me saying she had to reschedule for the following week because she had covid, totally understandable. We set up an appointment for the following week, and the time came, my partner and I logged on and waited 20 minutes and Sara was a no show. No email, no nothing. We decided to just cut our losses and not follow up, but I feel this was very unprofessional. I also received a check from my insurance provider as they charged us $10 more than what they were supposed to. Overall just not happy with the services and lack of communication. I would look elsewhere.
I will edit: they refunded me this charge this morning and have waived due to inconvenience. I appreciate the response and quick action taken and have increased my rating. However, I am upset that it even happened originally. I do love my therapist and had great services through them. Thanks My 1 star is not regarding my therapist. It is regarding the payment system and communication by acacia. Back in August I was randomly charged $50 when I hadn’t seen my therapist in over 3 months with no explanation. It was an error on their end and someone decided to just charge this to my account. It was refunded to me after I reached out. Then- out of the blue here in December I get another $100 charge on my account with again- no explanation. I am now very upset since this is the second time this has happened and I have not had any services since May. It seems like someone was going through accounts and just charging people who owed without ANY communication or invoice being sent. Where’s the proof of me owing this? Why weren’t I called or emailed the invoice? When I then emailed Acacia expecting a refund and an explanation I got “you had a balance on your account from 4/30 and 5/22 sessions with a copay of $50” and that was it. End of message. I strongly warn you to think before you move forward with this company. This is wildly unprofessional and honestly wrong. I can’t pay rent now because of this. I really wish I didn’t have to leave a review. But I expect an ACTUAL invoice or bill sent to me rather than a secret charge being posted and a 5 word email.
