To whom it may concern: I just picked up my prescriptions from the pharmacy and I worry now that maybe my new doctor (Dr. Hira) is not detail oriented enough for my needs. The medication that was in question is not the correct dosage. Per his recommendations I am supposed to take 60mg per day in two doses, one in the morning and one at night. As you know, we needed to change the value of the individual tablet back to 15mg per so that my insurance would cover the prescription. Four pills a day. I am now nearly a week into my new dosage using pills I had already purchased. I was just given a 90 day supply of 270 pills. That is my previous recommended dosage, and exact prescription I might add, of one pill three times a day. I am short by 90 pills. I know that this may sound dramatic to you, as it does to me, but you should know that this is the fourth tiresome error I’ve had to endure for my money in the short time I’ve been a patient of your office. The doctor seems to think repeating back what I’ve said, ad nausium, without any professional insight or perspective passes as listening and would be worth my time, money and consideration. I have not yet felt comfortable with, or in his care. If you’d like to share that little bit of constructive criticism with him, you are welcome to. The good news here is that I have 89 days to find a new doctor in my network. I will attempt to vet them by credential this time, rather than convince of location. I’m sure it won’t be hard, as I came to your office with a diagnosis, a medication plan, no dependency issues and excellent insurance coverage. And thank you again, for the very generic, inaccurate and days late work absence note. My employer was overwhelmingly unimpressed. It was now more than three years ago where I was not medically well enough to advocate for my own health as I’ve been required to in these circumstances. I hope the rest of your office’s patients are as able, for their sake. Thank you for your time,
Dr Jen is great! Very knowledgeable, compassionate, and understanding.
I saw Jennifer and did not feel that she cared about me or wanted to help me.
