My oldest teen started going here, had a good therapist for about four months. She moved on and promised to help find another therapist within the group. Never heard back from her, despite repeated attempts to contact her. I then called and scheduled with another therapist, just received a call less than four hours before my teens appointment that the new therapist was no longer accepting patients under 18. Getting my teen to therapy is a mental ordeal and to call and cancel an appointment like this last minute is completely unacceptable (should note that I made this appointment several weeks ago and as a current patient they had all of the details).

This company put me into collections when I never received an e-mail, phone call, or letter in the mail saying I owed them less than $100 meanwhile the therapist felt the need to follow-up on her schedule periodically directly to my e-mail. When I called to try and resolve the bill today I spoke to a terrible customer service representative named, Cody. She would not answer my question twice about hitting 2 for billing and then trying to give me a different number to call when I supposedly called billing. I asked to speak to her manager, she put me on mute, I called 7 more times trying to talk to a manager about her customer service skills and she sent me to voicemail and did not answer the phone. When I called back the final time, she put me on hold music and then hung-up on me. This whole experience was terrible, and I had thought of going back to them, but I will use another service based off this experience. If you can't answer a simple question and give me a run around and all this hassle to pay a bill it's not worth it.

I just received a letter from a collections agency letting me know that Affirmations (Broad St. location) sent me to collections due to unpaid bill of $50. Did I have a credit card on file? Yes. Did they have my phone number, email, and home address? Yes. Did they try to inform me of this unpaid bill in any way? No. They have always had billing issues, but this is too much. They haven't responded to my email and their new billing group was not helpful.

Their billing department is very unorganized and unresponsive. They keep giving me the runaround and telling me they’re going to call me back in x number of days and then they never do. It’s almost as if they just tell you that they’re gonna call you back to avoid having to address your concerns. This is not a place that I would recommend to friends or family because of the way their billing department treats their clients.

Absolutely am thankful for this place!! I see Heidi and she's absolutely amazing, my husband sees Todd and my son will soon see Jessica a kids therapist! I have been going here for 4 years and my husband 3, we are forever grateful for them and this wonderful place! They saved our marriage and helped me through some really dark times! I also have all my friends, and all there kids go there and absolutely love it, I have had no trouble there and contact has been amazing, and I have never felt so safe especially for someone who went through so many therapist growing up and never feeling safe! I hope you give this place a chance! Edit: I have edited my review and now down to a 1 star! The therapists are AMAZING!! But there new company that bought the old company SUCKS! They don't have a front desk worker who should be available to take our insurance and payment....now we have to do everything online and holding back our payments because we need to make a payment plan....but yet we should still be able to get our payments.....so we can pay it but oh wait we cant So now we are going to be hit hard with a huge bill and we are not happy with this new company at all! The only reason im staying is because my therapist is amazing, but honestly if i didn't have such a good therapist i would have left long ago!

I've been having sessions with Charlotte for about 9 months now and I'm definitely in a better place than I was back then. She's very easy to talk to and I've been able to work through a lot of issues. I would recommend her to anyone.

All I have to say is I am immensely grateful for my therapist, Charlotte Thomas! I had been struggling to find a therapist who not only would take my insurance, but one who would actually show up to appointments on time and not cancel or ghost me! Affirmations was recommended to me and without any issues at all, I got an appointment. Charlotte was assigned to me and it was divine intervention. I had been experiencing the worst depression and anxiety and feeling as though no one will ever understand me. I felt hopeless and full of shame! Well, I've been talking to Charlotte Thomas for several months now and she is a blessing! She actually listens to me and helps me process my feelings and emotions in terms I understand. She can relate to many of my experiences and provides constructive feedback in ways that align with my values and spirituality! 🙏 Charlotte is actually genuine and non-judgmental. (Anyone can tell if someone is therapizing you because they actually care or just for a paycheck). She is empathetic and encouraging with such a positive energy. I look forward to our sessions weekly and I can't even begin to tell you how much she has contributed to my overall well-being! 😁 Let's just say Charlotte now has me feeling HOPEFUL, rather than HOPELESS! I will venture to say Charlotte Thomas is likely the most sought out therapist at Affirmations. I refer her to anyone I meet, who's in need of a competent and caring therapist! 😎 All in all, my experience at Affirmations has been a positive one. For those who are struggling to find a compatible therapist, don't give up! Your mental health is so important and can be a matter of life and death!!! Namasté 🙏 😀

This has been my first time doing therapy and it was really easy to get scheduled! I left a message and received a call next day. Although I had no idea of what I was looking for, and a bit nervous to start the process of actual therapy, the admissions team were patient and attentive to my concerns. It’s not an easy journey but I’m thankful for their help this far.

Stay away from this place! I was only a patient here for a short time and was very clear about my concerns about billing. After telling them to make me aware as soon as possible of any bills I thought all was fine. Nothing could’ve been farther from the truth. After three months of hearing nothing I was told I had a massive bill and that my insurance wasn’t paying and had an outrageous bill. When asked why it took so long to bring this to my attention I was blown off an basically told “too bad” I told them to route it through my insurance again because no insurance adjustments were made. After a FULL YEAR I receive another bill out of the blue for over $800. No calls, no emails, and no mailed bills for a full year. Stay away from this place. As you can see from this and the most recent reviews, they clearly have no idea what they are doing or how to run a practice.

Made a new patient televisit online for Monday 3/14/2022. Received a text confirming my appointment, also received a text the day before and day of appointment reminding me of appointment time. No call ever came. Have left a voicemail every day this week and sent an email, still have received no response going on day 5. No longer wish to be seen here, just requesting confirmation that I will not be billed for the appointment that never happened. Very disappointed, would not recommend.
