This organisation and the people working for it have helped to save my life and significantly improve my quality of life. I have accessed it on 2 separate occasions and the level of care and support has been amazing.
Spoke with Rhonda about my current experience with my ex who is trying to continue to exert control on my life after I left them. She was incredibly helpful and advised me of various services that were unknown to me as well as actions that I can take to help myself in this position. I was deeply surprised to find they do not receive government funding and think this should be rectified as there service is essential.
Amazing staff and amazing support. Would definitely recommend. Going through something is never easy. Going through it alone is much harder. Reach out, get support.
The Mens Advisory Project are a much needed charity in NI. I found them on a Google search as I was not aware of the services they provide. Having to avail of the services they provide they arranged a care plan. This has to be implemented in a hurry one weekend. If it was not for this charity that provided support on a bank holiday weekend I’d have been homeless. I can’t recommend this charity enough They help men and boys that are at risk of Domestic Abuse. .
I can’t recommend this place enough. The support, and advice that I have received from everyone here has been second to none and has had a massive positive impact on me and my family’s lives. Can’t thank them enough
Found the course very helpfull, learnt alot on dealing with anxiety and managing emotions, it has left me and my family with a happier home enviroment
I highly recommend this organisation for their services. I have availed of their services (primarily with one counsellor) at different times across the last 3-4 years. They were professional, supportive, and challenged me to face the abusive relationship that I found myself in at that time. Their advice has been extremely helpful and I would highly recommend contacting them if you face any challenges that their services could aid you with.
I found the whole experience really, really beneficial. I was apprehensive about the programme due to the nature of my Issues, along with my mental ill health. I had nothing to worry about, the programme was a great success, enabled me to open up and speak about my issues, which as part of peer learning and sharing helped me massively. The structure and delivery of what is a difficult subject was first class, the wealth of experience of Angela and Jean, along with their passion for their area of expertise was spot on. I am now dealing with my Issues in a positive manner, engaging and employing coping mechanisms accordingly. I recommend this programme wholeheartedly, It helped me rediscover myself, deal with some difficult issues, and prepare me well for getting back into the world of work. Many, Many Thanks Kind Regards Brian (The wee Scotsman)
Disgraceful...rude, obnoxious and aggressive right from the get go. !! How do people these people get into these positions ? Is it the 'Peter Principal ', ? Remeber if you reading this... the office i take it is to advise and help men ? There is little enough help out there for men ... get rid of your secretary!! That would be a start
Bunch of scum bags. Abusive and only wish to help 'local people'. They try to extort £45 for a missed appointment out of a victim of physical and mental abuse. Hung up on me several times and refused to let me speak to anyone in a managerial position. NOT WORTH THE AIR THEY BREATHE
