I stayed on ward 3 for 3 weeks. And I was discharged last week. The staff are so friendly but also very busy meaning when you need the little things like hot water seemed impossible yet it was a big comfort for me to sit outside and have a coffee ๐ I felt extremely safe and understood by the drs. I came home to a more positive and hopeful outlook on what the future holds for me. I was admitted due to medication change which my body was not for having it. The switch to another and within 2 weeks I was fully functioning and being motivated by staff to do everyday tasks to get me back into a routine. I would give 5 stars but the plumbing is currently being fixed but my room slightly flooding ruined some of my possessions a few times . Ward 3 is fantastic although there needs to be more ward based activities during the day as alot of them are off ward. Simple things like Art colouring in making bracelets etc would be so beneficial for patients who can not leave the ward. The therapy room is well... Chaotic I couldn't even sit in it tbh. But overall I enjoyed my stay and had a fast recovery. If needs be in the future that I need these services I will be more than willing for another admition. Alot of bad reviews reflect on patients that are not very mindful to certain situations and why things are handled a certain way. Yes it's distressing having an admission and everyone is different but will blow up a small complaint to the point that it's unfair to the reflection on the staff. The staff need a huge pay rise !!!!! THANK YOU WARD 3 xxx

I was here in Sept 2021. I was pregnant with my 3rd child. I gave Birth at the ulster hospital when I was 36 weeks pregnant. My husband had to take my beautiful baby girl home when she was born. I wasnt discharged until my daughter was 6 weeks old. I came home becsuse i agreed to the home treatment to support me back to normal living. I think my total stay was 14 weekd .Staff were amazing from day 1. Northern Ireland needs a mother baby unit.

I stayed here and it was lovely place. Staff were brilliant and did the best they could. The negative reviews are from people that don't understand that the nurses have alot to do and have to write up every little thing. They are understaffed and doing thier best and very kind. My life has been better since leaving and I will always be thankful for the staff and the DBT they provided me. Thank you all x

I spent 2 weeks in this facility. I had great care from the staff and felt very safe. I made many friends amongst the patients and was very sad to leave. 10/10
