I began much-needed individual therapy this month at New Mexico Solutions. It has helped my interior life substantially already. I want to mention two qualities that stand out. The first was what has helped me the most. I have worked thus far with Alexa Brown who is doing a phenomenal job taking me seriously. I struggle with the impression that the people around me do not, on even the most fundamental level, have any respect for me, and, as I unravel myself in order to heal the parts of myself about which I'm most ashamed, Alexa's unwavering validation has been invaluable. I could not have asked for a person with whom it is easier to speak. The second was the ease by which I have been able to access therapy. I found it surprising that I could manage to fit anything at all into my schedule, given how much I've struggled to access other forms of healthcare since moving to New Mexico. Many thanks to the staff at New Mexico Solutions for making the process easy.

Don't come here if you absolutely value your psych privacy and have a therapist already, but only need housing. These people require you to fill out their little assessment bs and will refuse service if you refuse to fill it out, meaning they force you to give your information to their psych people despite saying you're not required to see them, and your treatment will be based on that. They're very invasive in that matter, despite claiming to respect your privacy. Not only that, the lady refused to give my paperwork back once she had it and claims she'll shred it, but who knows what she's really doing with it. They're a perfect example of the reason it's so difficult to find psych care that is trustworthy. If they're already forceful soon as you put your foot in the door, what else will they force you into?

They denied services to my child because I cannot obtain a notarized piece of paper stating that my child's father is no longer in their lives legally no person can go and have a notary state that another person is not or is not responsible for the child their father abandoned them and I have been a mother that stepped up and taking care of my children so to be denied mental health services for my child because their policy is more driven towards making sure they get payments rather than assuring the mental health of the client

I went here for over a year...they claimed I needed a higher level of care and then cut me off from all of their services effective in a weeks time despite needing a higher level of care. I went to the Coors and ouray office. This occurred in 2019. I was fully compliant in all aspects of my program, too. The only reason I gave stars is because they provided me the applications and means to apply for housing. They have a high staff turnover, which isn't fun for anyone. If you're serious about your mental health needs don't choose new mexico solutions.

I guess it's common practice for their intake therapists to remove existing diagnosis' from your records- physical as well as mental- and then adjust 'care' based on the diagnosis their intake therapists give them. There is no recourse, and they'll tell you to get therapy when you ask for it. Update: despite telling APS otherwise, they've neither handled it nor taken responsibility. Unsurprisingly, they have chosen to drop me as a client instead.

Some of the worst services I have ever received they constantly drop the ball on everything they do and when you try and fix it they blame you for it. They all have this fake nice condescending attitude and everytime you try and help them they just pretend to listen and just choose not to to do anything you say. There not helpful don't get services from them.

I note general non-responsiveness from this "mental health" organization. A pretty waiting room only gets you so far. Their voicemail greeting is not congruent with present reality. The spoken words from the "therapist" I met with in person was also not congruent with reality, as there has been zero follow up after one month, my follow up phone calls, and my follow up emails. She looked like a deer in headlights throughout our interview, and consistently misunderstood every single thing I said (e.g., consistently misinterpreted issues while absolving strangers she has never met, e.g., she consistently demonstrated auditory processing difficulties with verbal information). I am apparently too traumatized for this organization. Therefore, they either need to hire therapists who are actually educated and skilled enough to deal with real traumas -- or perhaps, seek another line of income, as money rather than service seems to be the function here. This organization has been very triggering for me, and I do not recommend them. It's a pity, as there are very few choices for mental health support in New Mexico. It was my understanding that improving mental health services was a priority for this state. Two feeble stars due to a pretty waiting room, and at least I had two weeks of wishful thinking that I might receive some much needed support. (unfortunately more than I've gotten from other NM sources) Should probably be ONE STAR due to the complete lack of follow through. TO THE BUSINESS: Understand that failed expectations is a huge deal for clients with pre-existing mental health issues. TO POTENTIAL CLIENTS: Understand that if this agency is receiving state funding, that they probably have not met their side of the deal.

This company has helped my family in multiple ways. Without them I don't know if I would have survived this past year without the help of my daughter's foster treatment family , therapist, and caseworker. I have a team that wants nothing but the best for my kiddo ❤️ I have always been treated with respect since day one , even on the days emotion took over during my daughter's treatment plans. I know they have wait lists for their services but once you get in their support can really benefit your life. Iam forever grateful for the services they have provided for my daughter ❤️

Take too long to assist you. They help county people who need to get help. And they have a bad back log. Receptionist are very rude at the other office nice here but takes too long.

The counselors are wonderful with the exception of the psych nurse, who seems to have something of a God complex. I spent 4 days in the hospital with fainting spells. The real doctor saw fit to put me back on the antidepressants lowbough took me off. Also I had been considering a new primary care doctor and was pleased to find one with ties to my old one. Well, lowbough came to my home just after discharge and proceeded to read me the riot act, ie I'm a drug addict, I'm dr. Shopping, I'm high, he red flagged me ass a drug seeker etc, etc. I called a real psychiatrist and she called tbe whole affair laughable as did my new primary care. All in all, its a good program with kind and compassionate people. Just avoid the nut job with the prescription pad!
