Been in treatment for 7 months and completed IOP. I stayed clean because of my councilors Ms. Judy and Ms. Angela. It was hard staying clean but I fought everyday. Every program is not perfect but out of all the programs I've been into, they have been the one that cares the most. I've received my CDL trucking license since I have been in treatment and I have reconnected my relationship with my children since I'm stable and working now. I owe it to them for my sobriety.

My husband and I left this program with the director Anthony, after parking his truck next to us and jumping out threatening physical violence, not once but twice, (I have videos) he pulled away after I stated I was recording his actions and going to post them. This occured after deciding to leave the program the day before because of our property being violated, searched in our room with no cameras that we were not allowed to watch. I understand the need to do searches, but not in that violating manner. My husband had been out of multiple medications that I had to call to figure out what was going on after there was a mix up with pharmacies, and when he still was not getting them I called Alpha Pharmacy. Angela the woman who, to my knowledge runs the houses screamed at me to 'hang up right now, you are not to ever call Alpha Pharmacy." I hung up very confused as she continued to say that due to the dealings they had with Alpha, clients were not call, regardless of any issues. It still had not even been acknowledged for 4 more days when he finally received one of the 3 medications. My husband asked for a COVID test for 3 days, was finally told by Angela that she had them in her car and would bring them in, never did and instead sent him to the ER for one. Under the pretense that a few blisters on his hand might actually be hives or spider bites. A few days later both my husband and I developed strep throat, he received antibiotics a day before I did. I had the diagnosis and a script turned in on a Sunday morning. Monday I still did not have the antibiotics, and was standing at my bedroom door, with my husband when Angela walked by stating "he had a day off yesterday and you both need to get in group now". Several hours later after receiving an ice pack from one staff member for a fever and coughing severely I was told by the teaching staff she was making the decision to send me to bed. Angela then called me upstairs and stated that had she known I had strep throat she would not have sent me to group and I looked very sick and needed rest. The next morning 15 hours after being treated with antibiotics she again told me to attend group, neglecting the fact I was in a small crowded room. 2 over doses requiring ambulances in 1 week occurred. Instead of staff attempting to deescalate situations when clients needed serious help to overcome the difficulties occurring with the disease of addiction they would frequently yell and curse. When I asked one staff member what the etiology of addiction was I was first told that (he) had to teach out of a different book, and I could look it up on Google. Subsequently he stated, "you asked why, well because it is a dis ease, that makes it is uneasy."

While this place has been getting good feedback, I find it challenging that they do not have a voicemail set up. If they get this fixed, I think they will be significantly more helpful and connected to the community.
