I'm grateful for my counselor Ms Oliver she's sincere and does her best to help me and her other clients. I know no one asked me to come here, but I am here and I have feelings and desires like the staff does. My issue is how can Medmark get hundreds of thousands in our insurance money andNOT EVER HAVE ENOUGH NURSING STAFF TO MEDICATE THEIR PATIENTS? SOMETHING IS DEFINITELY OFF HERE! We wait hours in line only to be told there's only one nurse at a two nurse station! Disabled people, people with respiratory difficulties are required to endure this type of unprofessional setting at least three times per week. If you have a ride here be prepared to Walk home!.
Well- very good methadone program. You are assigned a counselor. You attend groups to help keep you sober. They do drug test with surprise drug test weekly monthly depending on how long you have been with the program and if your urine are clean. They understand relapses happen. My favorite part is if you give clean urines-see your counselor-go to groups-report to recalls- you do earn take homes. You start out coming to medmark 6 days a week. But you can earn take homes after a few months and only have to come in every 2 weeks or once a month. Best decision of my life.
My Counselor Sharon C. goes above her duties to help me with Staying Clean,I go to her group every Wednesday morning the groups is very insightful and it helps me change my way of thinking she calls me at least once a week if she doesn't see me coming to get dosed to check on me and see how I am doing. She has a one-on-one session with me once a month being truthful at first I only wanted male counselors but she's very understanding
Addiction counselor Ms Iesha is for real one of Medmarks #1 best quality counselor. Being in recovery and at this point in my life I've learned that when people do you right and I can see are genuinely " Good People" who want nothing from you but for you to do good in life and learn from your mistakes so you can have a life worth living. Medmark 101 Counselor Ms Iesha is one of those people that make me want to do better and want better out of my life, I am a very guarded person that doesn't usually let anyone in my life but with her I do. She is genuine and a benefit to my recovery and life and I'm very thankful for that.
Hi my name is Amanda I have been a medmark for 6 years and I have had a lot of counselors but Sharon is by far the best counselor I have had since being here she is very attentive and she really care and has a great heart...

I've been attending this clinic for years now. My counselor Ms.Sharon is best counselor I have had since attending medmark. Ms. Sharon is very understanding easy going and has a great personality. I used to dread seeing my counselor now when I go in medmark I ask to her. She is the best. π€©β€οΈ
It works when you work it . At Medmark you can test assure you will receive the guidance and counseling you need to be successful! Everyone from leadership to maintenance are kind and respectful. The counselors are very personable , insightful and informative . I wouldnβt have had it any other way!
I can't complain too much about free synthetic heroin. I've been on almost every program in the city, and at least no one has been shot in this one. Yet.......... with my fellow clients? In this city? Hmmmmm. I've putting the over/under for the coldest day of the coming winter. My counselor is awesome, but there is almost always a 2 hour wait. That's sad.
I've been at this program for almost a year. I have had the same issues with the front desk staff upstairs. I haven't had a counselor for 3 quarters of the time I've been Here's. I get one then they leave in less than a month. But that is just a small issue. I advice anyone looking for a program not to go to downtown Baltimore because they don't care that the nurse downstairs is short dosing people so she can steal the methadone. I have spoken to numerous different people in the program but never can get a hold of the director even though he knows what's going on. I've left messages at the headquarters and they haven't contacted me and this is very serious. Now thus crazy nurse has told everyone she's leaving and that last Wednesday was her last day, but her coworkers say she's lying that she's only going on vacation. So many different clients, some I've never seen before have been telling my husband and me the same things we've been saying. It's crazy that she gets away with this. My husband and I have actually seen her, yet they want to believe her over us. I'm tired of my dose going back and forth everyday, worrying if today I'm going to be sick or knocked out. It's ridiculous that she is getting away with. Nobody's dose should change every day. I've been on a program 2 years at my other program I never had a problem with my dose. Here it's all the time changing, coming out the machine messed up looking. It's just crazy. We have to stay here because of our jobs until we loose them because we're to sick too many times.
