Dr. Beverli Mormile — Psychologist in Baltimore, MD

I wish I could give zero stars. My experience with Dr. Mornile was traumatic and life-altering. During a session, she claimed she needed to 'grab something' and left the room. Ten minutes later, police arrived, handcuffed me, and transported me to a psychiatric hospital because she told them she feared I would harm myself. I was held for three days—including my birthday. I was fired from my job, missed a wedding I was supposed to be in, and lost my friend group as a result of this incident. I was terrified for my dogs at home, and the only number I could remember to call was my father, who lives four hours away. Because of the trauma she inflicted, I had to move back home. People need to feel safe and supported in therapy, but her actions failed that responsibility in the worst way. She caused immense harm instead of providing help. I am sharing this to warn others and to validate anyone who has had a similar experience.
