Dr. Whitten is world class - I can’t recommend him highly enough. I learned a great deal working with him. Even years later I’ll reflect on takeaways from our sessions in ways that seem helpful. He’s very knowledgeable across several related disciplines and skilled at meeting clients where they’re at. Thanks for the insights and friendship, Dr Whitten!
BEWARE! Go somewhere else for your own good to avoid the management hassles. The Doctors they work with are great but the management team is a total joke. The office worker (Ray i believe) was also decent. Management are difficult to contact and if you have any issue at all expect to be met with an incompetent and useless individual. They were rude, non helpful, and totally uncaring. They also had thier kids screaming and banging loudly on things in the background on the call. Extremely unprofessional people. It was pointless to even bother with it. Told them to cancel everything and any new attempted charges will be met as a legal matter. I had an emergency and had to cancel 1 single appointment and did so hours ahead. I was told this was no issue and nothing would be charged. They later tried to charge $75 for it. People have emergencies at times. Get a clue. Canceled all future appointments and will go elsewhere if needed. Be more professional as management
Starting with the good… I want to say that Dr. Whitten is a great therapist and helped me a lot with my DPDR symptoms. However, the management and billing team is very unprofessional and kinda a scam. I paid $95 for my no show fee because I was depressed at the time and couldn’t bring myself out of bed. I understood that. A week later, come to my surprise when I was then sent an email billing me additional fees I was ASSURED I wouldn’t be billed due to critical family health crisis. The week in question and the week prior, my parents had severe health problems. My mother had seizures then my dad was in the ICU and was hospitalized for 2-3 weeks which lead to me not being able to make it to my appointments. I called beforehand and was TOLD there would be no fees as it was a family emergency so they “understood.” One month later I get sent a bill and a collections notice about the balance!!! I didn’t even know that the balance existed before I got a collections notice through the mail!!! WHAT IS THIS?!! I called today and the exact person that notified me that there wasn’t going to be fees went back on their word and stated he would have never said anything like that in risk of jeopardizing his job. So now the billing management, specifically this guy, is denying any reassurance of my responsibility to the fee the sneaky collections notice that came WITH the bill that was sent through email A MONTH after the fact. A bill they didn’t tell me I had last week when I paid $95 for fees! The therapists and on-site staff are amazing, but the billing team doesn’t care if your parents are dying, they’ll charge you for the session anyways. For a therapy organization, it is disheartening how much they lack in understanding for your life outside and how it affects your treatment. Don’t get me started on the parking. 3/10 would not recommend to anyone who cares about their finances, let alone an organization that cares.
Kate Crosby has been my psychiatrist for a very long time and is excellent! Always helpful and guides me through my mental health journey with extreme care. Everyone at complete wellness very kind and responsive. Very thankful for them!
My experience here has been very disappointing, and I would not recommend it at all. Regarding the actual sessions, I only rescheduled once (delaying the calendar one week), but a total of four visits took over four months to complete. The reminders were sent to me via email, text and phone call, these last two from five different numbers, making it difficult to reduce what it felt like spam. Billing was always a hassle. They fail to inform you clearly about pricing before and after every visit, and they are not able to provide a detailed bill until weeks later. I have had to email, call and talk in person many more times than one would consider reasonable to even help them make sense of what they were billing me for.
A very well ran practice that cares about their patients. I saw both a psychologist for an exam and followed up with therapy by two of their therapists for my depression. Their focus on having specialized therapists for different kinds of mental health issues helped me to get a therapist who understood how I was feeling and helped pinpoint how I could work on addressing my issues. Could not recommend them more. Wish I could give 6 stars.
I went there to see a psychiatrist but she didn’t want to talk to me, only prescribe meds, so they made me get a regular therapist as well. The regular therapist wasn’t helpful for me and I missed appointments with her. They discharged me from EVERYTHING, including the medication management, which is all I needed in the first place. So I had to go without my medication while I tried to find a psychiatrist. To top it off, these goons keep sending me an email asking me for $100. I don’t even know what it’s for!! Definitely avoid this place, they’ll send a bill you don’t even know you were charged for to collections right away or they’ll drop you like a hat when you make a mistake.
Very pleasant and helpful staff. I have felt nothing but safe and been shown so much hospitality. The new management is doing a great job at providing care and support. I hope to see this recovery team grow and be able to help more clients as these times are getting more and more stressed.
Clinician Jessica Page Sullivan is A WONDER WORKER. She is by far the most professional and knowledgeable health care specialist there is. Before meeting CRNP Sullivan, I had all but lost hope in finding out how to manage and address my health issues. I've been to hundreds of appointments, taken an arsenal of different medications, attempted all sorts of therapies with no sign of relief. Until I met CRNP Sullivan, I truly felt like the healthcare system failed me - with the irony being found in that most of my family work in the medical field. The impact of just a single year of treatment under CRNP Sullivan has exponentially outweighed the treatments of a decade worth of treatment by both doctors, therapists, psychiatrists and psychologists combined. She has made such a positive impact in my life in just one year and I am nothing but grateful to her. It took time to see the change but by the end of the year I am a whole person once again. I truly appreciate Jessica Page Sullivan for all that she has done in no doubt saving my life and cannot recommend her enough.
I will not be returning to Complete Wellness. The providers mostly did an adequate job serving me but the organization is disorganized, unhelpful, and has resulted in significant stress and fees. They have failed to correctly submit claims to my insurance company resulting in fees and charges which never should have occurred. The organization is allergic to taking responsibility for any failure, is impossible to reach via phone, and outsources billing seemingly only to further confuse patients. For a mental health facility to actively cause me mental anguish is unforgivable, just find somewhere else to go.
