Colleen Schreyer — Psychologist in Baltimore, MD

Colleen Schreyer, PhD, is a psychologist and Associate Professor in Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences at the Johns Hopkins School of Medicine. She directs clinical research for the Johns Hopkins Eating Disorders program. Dr. Schreyer's clinical work and research focus on eating disorders, including anorexia nervosa and bulimia nervosa, and their relationship with anxiety and decision-making. She also provides therapy for individuals and families with eating disorders and conducts pre-surgical psychiatric evaluations for bariatric surgery candidates. Her research extends to obesity, behavioral and surgical weight loss treatments, and psychosocial predictors of bariatric surgery outcomes. Dr. Schreyer earned her PhD in Clinical Psychology from the University of Maryland, Baltimore County, and completed a fellowship at Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine.
