Coming from a background of a life mired by addiction and trauma I have had more experience with counselors than I care to admit on here haha but very few have went the extra mile that Mandy, one of GWRL’s therapists has. I truly have nothing but good things to say about all the staff all around, but for her you can see that this is more than a job. She’s one of the lucky few that has turned a passion- in her case a passion and commitment of being of service to others-into a vocation and it’s my opinion that GWRL is beyond blessed to have someone who can bring that kind of energy and skill set to the table.

I've been to several other clinics in Louisville it's by far the best and I promise you it's not money hungry.

I am proud of you for seeking recovery, assuming that is why you're here 😊 Unfortunately, the nurses are disrespectful and unprofessional, which is an understatement. They NEVER answer the office phone, but they are always on their phones and will finish a personal text or call on their personal phones BEFORE administering your medication. If the nurses aren't talking trash aloud about each other behind the other nurses/counselors backs, they are talking trash about other patients while you stand waiting to receive your medication. If you can ignore all of that and remind yourself it's only temporary, until you get off of it and out of there, you'll be fine 🙄 The counselors are the ones that really stand out, though! There are a couple of Godsend counselors there that I enjoyed speaking with and seeing throughout my recovery. It is obvious that those counselors love their job, and I appreciate them for all of their encouragement and compassion a long the way. I received treatment there for over a year and am blessed to have tapered off completely within that time. With that being said, I am extremely thankful for Methadone. God knows where we were before the Methadone 😬 God bless all of you who are seeking recovery. I am rooting for you 💜

I’m sure this place helps some people, but for me it wasn’t a good fit. I was able to get methadone, but was still able to do h & other substances. My drug screens showed everything but I was never confronted or held accountable. I know that I should not have been using and i am in control of what I do, but I wish I would have been held accountable by this clinic but instead, I was enabled and continued to use while being on 130mg of methadone. In my opinion, this place should be looked into and have stricter guidelines for patients. I am very thankful that I found a new place that helped me get off of everything and I’m feeling much better. In my opinion, this place is money hungry & dangerous.

I guest dose at this location. They was amazing the two ladies that did my roi(release of information), bc it was an emergency guest dose situation , was amazing. They was on it and when they seen me sitting waiting they even called back making sure we wasn’t waiting on anything from them. Which we wasn’t but it was so nice that they cared. It cost $25 to guest dose here if you need to. I’d definitely go to this clinic over the other clinics. The nurses was hesitant a lil because my dose is higher than their patients but the lady said it was ok and everything was fine. If I need to come back here I’ll definitely go back to this clinic again.

Kentucky Recovery literally SAVED my life and so so much more. I'm beyond thankful I found Kentucky Recovery. It's truly an amazing and welcoming place without negativity or judgement or drama or anything like that. The staff/counselors want to actually help their clients and see them succeed and transform into recovery and being sober. They really will go out of their way to help you and get you stable and sober. Their hours and location are very convenient and located on the bus line for anyone who needs to ride the bus here. Everyone here is very friendly and kind. No long waits in lines like at other clinics. You're in and out in about 10- minutes or less. Unless you have to take a drug screen then it's maybe 15-minutes in and out. Still way better than any other clinics around Louisville currently. This is the BEST clinic for methadone maintenance around the Louisville area right now. The nurses and doctors are super friendly and helpful and you can tell that they are really caring and care about each and everyone of their clients. It's such a warm and welcoming place. Nurses are so funny and really talk to you and care about your needs and questions and will do what they can to help you out anyway they can. I honestly couldn't ask for a better treatment center for methadone maintenance. Such an amazing group of people I have met and truly adore them. Thank you so much for helping me get sober and helping me in my recovery right now. I couldn't have done it without you or my counselor. I would recommend this clinic to anyone looking for a methadone maintenance clinic in the Louisville area. They are the best. You don't get any better than Kentucky Recovery I promise. You won't be disappointed. They also accept insurance. Most other clinics don't accept insurance. That's a big awesome thing here besides the staff/counselor's/nurses and doctors who are super amazing people. Who understands what we are going through as addicts. They also accept passport insurance as well. They work with you if you're having payment issues and all that. They go beyond to help their clients. Way to go Kentucky Recovery. You deserve a million stars. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Not just 5. Keep on helping people. #Sobersquad

Easy to get on. Not expensive and everyone is really nice. Their hours could be better especially for working people. That's the only thing I feel they need to adjust. In California clinics stay open till 5pm and they take an hour lunch between 12 and 1pm. Otherwise clinic is open from 5am -5pm.

Absolutely amazing.. I live the staff have known them for a long time. And they were caring enough to let me know about Kentucky Recovery... An also the accept my insurance which is an absolute blessing.. The other place I was at CBH was self pay. Took state insurance but not employer insurance!! An didn't care to help me with a reimbursement from my insurance.. CBH is all about the money.. and they have to many patients. When you have to take a number and set in your car for 40 minutes that's ridiculous.. I'm glad I made the switch. And was absolutely treated very badly by Mark just because I was switching. And I feel that it should be you well being that they care about an as long as I am staying in treatment that should be all that matters..
