They say MRT available yea whenever they allow you to make meetings on time or at all , staff is a joke ,food is a joke , this whole place is a joke , oh yeah Richard im still sober , I never could understand why a men's facility has mostly all women working there , they stole lines off of full metal jacket for something they call morning development when in reality its a lie they use this time for some guy that stays in the basement to do sweeps with his stinky dog to search for dope . It says employment available yea right in their kitchen w no pay , there is no community involvement at all none. The only thing I did learn is bad some situations can be and theres nothing you can do but accept the emotional abuse ,and snoottiness, this place dishes out . For real this place is just another jail

My first experience in rehab, and I couldn't have asked for a better experience! You have to be ready for some learning. I thought the place was great 5 stars definitely!!!

Ok so I had to go through the program basically twice served out the second time round but there's pros and cons to anything in life including this place if you can stand being surrounded by 250 idiots and find a few good guys to work out etc with and actually take a look at why you are truly there and not blame everyone else and have a little financial support while there cause the food was garbage was getting better when I left and also take a little constructive criticism from the counselors and of course don't use you have a pretty good chance at making it through the easiest sap in the state

Ok I just completed this program. I have to say I would've chosen that place over where I was before I was sent there. The easiest SAP program I have ever had to do but that's not saying much I've only been in two total. The food sucks..ugh..it makes you appreciate a big Mac. As far as the staff, I never had an issue with them, they weren't coming in everyday with a smile on their face doing cartwheels but I don't go to work everyday like that either. Overall, I think the place is designed to make you not want to come back and do something different with yourself so its definitely not a vacation spot.

I unfortunately was sent to cts after making parole in August the place is horrible the program they have is the easiest in the state but having to live there for six months is what’s terrible I was being sexually harassed by another resident there and I was forced to file a prea and the way cts handled it was ridiculous nothing was done about it the guy ended up dropping dirty and subsconded but after filing the prea i became a target none of my money orders from the whole time i was there never made it to me and after two months i got on the suboxone program and i was drug tested at cts and had suboxone in my system and even though i was prescribed it they wouldn’t listen and after being there for 5 months cts restarted me there wasn’t anything i could do I guess I made the facility look bad for filling a prea and I was punished for it

Behavior modification program. And the currency is food. And the lack of it I was hungry there. Best part was the weight room. But if you can nod and say yes smile and say your wrong and the staff is right then you pass... five stars though because all this made it possible to get my driver's license back. So ty. The counselors were good to me personally.

My name is Floyd Laychak l came to CTS Russell on Jan 11th 2024 and l got to come home after completing the program and after serving 40 long months. But the program there was a eye open experiencing for me l got allot out of the program and Richard the SAP director was one of the smartest and intelligent people that l have ever met. The way that this man goes into depth about the affect of addiction and the consequences that comes with addiction is something that l wish that all addicts could experience. This man knows his stuff. I was very fortunate to been apart of the program there. And after 4 other SAP Program that l have completed over the years of my addiction l finally have a mind changing experience there due to me listening and being open minded. And have heard a lot of negative things about the program there but if there is a SAP Program that you must complete l 100% would recommend CTS Russell. I want to thank all who helped me while l was there and thanks for all that you do there to make is a drug free and safe

I went through this program September 1st 2023 and it’s all what you make it I think it really helps! the structure the whole therapeutic community part. Everything was put in place for a reason and it really helped me, I definitely learned a lot from coming to this program. I was here for 4 months I didn’t graduate because I made MRS but the time I did spend there was pretty good! I’m not the kind to be able to do time, it’s very hard on me but being at this place helped me a whole lot. The food here was absolutely horrible and some of the things they did made no sense to me everyone was complaining about how hungry they where and how bad the food was the portion sizes etc well as a fix they cut out any extras for the kitchen workers that worked that day (witch was the only bonus for working in there… gave you something to actually look forward to) they cut out giving any extras they had leftover and they cracked down on enforcing the rule on giving away food you didn’t want on your plate you where not aloud to trade food or give food away whatsoever but other then the dumb stuff like that the place will actually help you if you want the help you will learn a lot in the classes it’s just all on if that person wants to change I was very blessed to go to this program and got a lot out of it and it helped my anxiety a lot! Also the counselors are great and will try to help you with anything. I recommend this place to anyone who is actually ready to change just stay out the way and don’t get in trouble

I was sent here for parole upon completion of S.A.p in 2009 I think it’s been a long time. I benefited from the structure and routine. I would give the morning news and weather. I also was the extra duty coordinator. I had the idea for the fact that they were making us write the big book if we got caught smoking etc. But the thing was some of the inmates couldn’t read or write. So if they didn’t write it they would get kicked out of the program and sent off. So instead of that I purposed the idea for them to make them clean etc. for there punishments. But it is like being locked up there you don’t get out much. But that’s one the ways they keep drugs out of the building. This place is basically used for state inmates. When I graduated the program statistics showed only ten percent would make it with out getting back in trouble. Which is probably true. The only reason I left that old life was my higher power Jesus Christ. So here I stand after catching a case in 2006 I done forty three months. Addiction effects someone in everyone’s family seems like now days. Don’t give up hope on them. I’m proof through hard work and staying in recovery till this day it is possible.

Recently had 2 loved ones that were in what they call “treatment” there. The place is a complete joke when it comes to a substance abuse program. My brother left the program in January due to staff harassing him, I had to go pick him up & he turned his self into jail the next day because it was better than that dump. My child’s father was also there completing treatment and told me of a couple of occasions where a worker touched him inappropriately but she ended up running off with another inmate. Another worker there by the name of Miss Jones accused me of bringing drugs into my brother & childs father simply because she was the one bringing in drugs to the residents & she thought since they weren’t buying from her they must be buying from someone else. That place needs to be shut down. They stopped my brothers time for “suspicious activity” but never could give my brother, the po, or anyone a good explanation as to why he was put in “focus” for suspicious behavior. That place only wants money. It’s filthy. Most of the workers there are felons their self & look strung out. I can’t for the life of me figure out how it’s still operating. Also miss jones made the comment to other residents about “we have Hill gone, now we just have to get Martin out of here.” They make life hell of the resident until they just run from the place.
