This is Willie Edward Daniels staying in this place while he’s here it is Indianapolis. That’s a good safe place for you. I want tomorrow when you come. 09/17/1985 willie Edward Daniels okay Thanksyou i was praying for him Willie Edward Daniels 09/17/1985
I’ve been here a week 2026 and this is the worst rehab I’ve ever been too they serve food worse than jail food. The portions are for 10-year-olds. They don’t let anybody share food or help the other people out. The rules change every day. The staff has crazy attitude with the clients. I have yet to meet with the Case Worker counselor. You got to provide your own food if you are hungry or if you have visits with your kid and you have to provide the food, you are not allowed to do a pick up or drop off order so if you have EBT across that Out Unless you have your physical card, if you miss the day to go to the store, you have to wait all entire week. I have not felt like using an over a year and this week that I’ve been here has stressed me out more than I have been in this last year.
My sister was there for 30 days. She had nothing,so I bought her a phone that came with a years worth of time and I took it and some clothes..She got the phone but THEY STOLE HER TIME FOR HER PHONE,THEY KEPT THE BOX,ETC..DONT TRUST THEM WITH YOUR STUFF
This place needs shut down or they need better staff!! The staff argues with the nurses, they show favoritism towards clients. I have been here almost 3 weeks and still have yet to meet my counselor.. they do not care about you or your sobriety. There were drugs in the building and multiple clients high. My stuff keep getting stolen!! They don’t watch you take your drug screens. I could go on and on about this place. Supervisors have lied straight to my face and are supposed to be the “higher ups”. It’s sad that some people are court ordered or DCS orders them to stay here to get their children back. The staff let clients fight and jump people. Something needs to be done!!!!! Not to mention when I first got here they gave me a bed with no blankets or pillows.. just a sheet and it was freezing. I had to beg for more sheets. Thank God I have family to help and bring stuff but what about the people who don’t?? So sad..
My wife went here to get better, our experience at this location is beyond bad. 1. This facility steals from residents, be very afraid, they stole our laptop and beats headphones, 2. They dont have case managers- so absolutely 0 help on housing, SNAP, HIP it is an 84 day program who caters to anyone and everyone who they can scam. The most positive is the clinical staff. Ms. Donna...fantastic! Ms. Cheryl- yeah she's tough, but 100% honest, you work thr program, she will do anything in her power to help you. Ms. Lori, fabulous- ask and ye shall receive. Ms. Vicki...absolutely the best!! In all aspects she truly cares about you. That's downstairs, upstairs where residents live...ugh...there are exceptions..Ms. Margaret, Yvonne, and Heaven no one can ever compare to your kindness and compassion. Im sorry but everyone else, steals, yes staff steals, leave your room...its Subject to being searched, and stuff WILL come up missing. Nick tries his best, but this program needs help, Nick, you can trust but there is only so much 1 man can do. He's pretty cool and easy to talk to. Here is why 1 star...this center will take 0 accountability for mistreating you. Get outta line? They call the cops, they double bill your insurance, and are more focused on moving their operation than helping you. You need a job, housing, a blanket? Get in line. Residents have to self advocate for anything. Mental health issues? No problem...they take everything, as long as it pays the bills. Got a complaint? Talk to Sherell, she will give you a standard answer but nothing will come of it. If you like jail and false promises come here. If you would like to trade your addiction for prescriptions, come here, but you better be prepared to take your meds "on time" which means when they decide to give them. I reached out to them, and my "missing" items, aka laptop, beats, even shampoo, was not in the "inventory " so, chalk that up to a loss because people who steal keep an inventory.
Worst center I ever been to. Rules change daily. Staff are MOSTLY RUDE.The director and staff don't communicate. I was supposed to have blood drawn 3 wks ago Never happened. First we could have phones then they changed it to after 4pm til 9. When everything is closed. They barely Know of sober living. You get no resources. The food is horrible. They don't accommodate diabetics etc. It takes weeks to get anything done. I stayed over 30 days with no plan or sober living. Vicky has the worst attitude. You can tell she's unhappy and tries to annoy people. Ms.Donna Aunisha Yvonne and the one that just had a baby are great. Aunisha followsvthe rules but she's a good supervisor. Good luck you have to advocate for yourself
My daughter has not even been at the recovery center for 48hrs and she initially waited 3 hours in the lobby just to be admitted, was laughed at and mocked by the techs, and has now been jumped by 4 other patients at this facility. This is a terrible place for people in recovery and I wouldn’t recommend it to my worst enemy. Yesterday I was contacted by the VP who ensured me this is not how she runs this place and less than 24 hours after our conversation my daughter is jumped. So I take what was told to me as a bunch of lies and attempts to pacify a mother who is concerned about a child who WAS committed to recovery but now is just using these things as excuses to get of it. Anyone who has a loved one dealing with recovery knows they do not need any more reasons to not seek treatment or to get out of treatment.
This industry has always been there for me and still here for me now. I am a veteran that was about to be evicted and had hard time getting the necessities until I called them. I talk to 5 other industries and they were the first to pickup their phone and helped me with all my issues the best to their ability. I don’t regret calling them. They are the best that I know of. Thank you.
This place was a God send for me & gave me my life back! Some staff was very unprofessional, but most who really cared stood out and was there to help me every step of the way. My Therapist Ms. Tiffany was my God sent Angel!
My experience was VERY beneficial. I am so grateful that I had the opportunity to meet some of these people. When I was in the darkest days of my addiction, I remember just wanting to be "normal again". I didn't know who I was anymore... VOA helped me, help myself (if that makes any sense?) Staff aren't there to cater to you, this place isn't going to be a vacation and you will be stepping outside of your comfort zone but I promise it'll all be 100% worth it in the end. I suggest you use your time wisely. The choices you make while at VOA should be in preparation for your life after you leave. They'll give you the tools to do so but be prepared to put in the work! Try to keep an open mind and be respectful. RECOVERY IS POSSIBLE. However, as common as it may sound, IT ONLY WORKS IF YOU WORK IT. 💪🏼 Never give up on yourself!
