Been going here for years & have had too many issues to list. Only reason I stayed with them was because it was easier than finding someone new. Plus i was in active addiction & most doctors weren't willing to prescribe my benzos when i was still on fentanyl, but this place would. Now that i'm sober & tapering off my methadone, they asked what dosage of methadone i was on & agreed to refill my medication. That was my last appointment, less than a week before i no longer had insurance. When my medication wasn't refilled, i called and was told i'd get a call back. no one called back. i called again (and again and again and again) and was finally informed that because of my methadone they couldn't prescribe the benzos. That would have been fine if they had told me outright on the day of my appointment, as i could have gotten written permission from my methadone provider that I needed the benzos due to special circumstances (i have seizures that prevent me from being on other anxiety meds), or found someone else to refill it. But I was told I cant talk to my provider to let her know this or get anything resolved without an appointment. I explained I don't have insurance & the receptionist rather bluntly stated "you can still make an appointment without insurance" like it didn't even occur to her that some people can't afford to pay out of pocket. Hence my frustration. Now i'm without meds/any way of getting them & no one here is willing to work with me in the slightest. Like i said i've had many issues with them in the past but this was my breaking point. When I'm back on insurance I definitely won't be returning nor would i ever recommend anyone to go here.

Pending visit, will edit review with new information as appropriate. 1. The online scheduling process is beyond thorough and already their upfront intake far exceeds my current provider group standards by an order of magnitude. 2. I was recommended to this group/location by a fellow work colleague who understood my current provider group (Healthnet) had a strict requirement that you must see their group PCPs yearly in order to qualify to see their PsyD/MDs. No exceptions. I saw several PCPs and was unsatisfied with this condition for obtaining BH treatment. 3. This particular group (Hendricks) came highly recommended and without that odd prerequisite of using a PCP within their extended medical provider group. So far the sign-up/intake process has not disappointed, as it is all online. Very impressive and, again, thorough. **** I am very much looking forward to speaking with the team at Hendricks and transferring my BH care, so that I can then choose my PCP regardless of Medical Group affiliation of my BH Provider group. I have heard amazing things, so fingers crossed this will be my new "home" for the foreseeable future. ****

I’m sad to make this update, as I give this business a 5 star review when I started. I cannot afford my bill right now and I am without my medication. No one has helped me with any solutions or has been empathetic with me at all. If you are someone who is struggling with finances, this is not the place for you.

Came to the downtown office today for the first time and was a little overwhelmed with parking and what not as I don't normally come to indy. Had it not been for such a caring receptionist that helped me sort out my parking issue and waited on me while being so sweet and supportive I would've not had a great experience but thanks to her it was a successful visit and I wasn't made out to feel bad about myself but instead felt accepted and understood. Thank you again for your great attitude and kindness today <3

I have been attending Hendricks Therapy downtown for the past 8 months. The receptionist is so friendly and makes everyone feel welcome. Dr. Lindsey Mitchell is wonderful. She provides great advice and provides a welcoming space.
