As a professional also in the field, I am beyond disappointed with their operations and wait times. It took around 2 months to get an intake completed virtually. We were then given incorrect information of when an orientation group started. This resulted in a referral directly to individual therapy, and over 7 days later we haven't been scheduled. I just called to follow up and literally got zero answers. The intake operation is beyond broken. And if you cannot handle the referral flow causing huge delays in the intake and therapy sessions occurring, then EXPAND!!!! You literally get paid to provide services. Provide more and you'll make more money. Do more good for the community. Have better outcomes and less suicides/ED visits. I asked for a supervisor, and was told someone would contact me tomorrow. Perhaps leadership should be a tad more involved.
Do not send your child here. I’m being generous and giving two starts because of a social worker Megan who actually made this place not so shitty.
Unfortunately I was doing work across the street I walk in the lady at the front desk was a sweetheart to try to help me out and then somebody came out rude as can be stated I couldn't use the bathroom to public health considering I'm doing work in the area surrounding the building to make it way nicer for you guys and yeah I can't use your bathroom disrespectful rude and I just don't understand why people have to be like that...
If you stick with it, Adult and child will make a difference in your life. Great people
My home base case worker LaSonya argued with me and contradicted everything I said. She lied and claimed I was not willing to take my medicine, even though she was in the same appointment with me with Christy Dixon. Yet Christy's report says I am willing. She looked up the medicine on Google and claimed it was not for anxiety. She claimed it was for itching. I am certain Christy, a psychologist would not prescribe a medication for itching and out on the bottle for anxiety/sleep. She also accused me of being delusional and living an alternate reality just because I choose to practice my faith as a Christian. This is coming from the same woman who claims to be a Christian! LaSonya was very unprofessional and shouldn't be allowed to be in any form of mental health due to her hostile behavior.
I wouldn’t recommend this place at all. Clinic is super dirty. Staff members are so RUDE they talk, whisper loudly to make sure you know they are talking about you. Just straight up rude if I could remember the two staff members I would honestly put their names on this review to let people know the kind of people that this place hires.
Intake specialist told me they had room in my practice for my son, so I stopped calling around and waited the month for the intake appointment. I completed all the intake paperwork, then took the morning off of work and my son missed school and we drove the hour to the clinic and did the intake appointment. They told us they would contact us in the next 2 weeks to schedule our first appointment. They called 2 weeks later....to say they didn't have room the in practice and couldn't treat him. So we had to start over. All they did was delay my sons care for over 2 months and waste my time and resources. I'm sure they help someone, but I'm not sure who.
The initial evaluation with the psychologist was great, he was professional, compassionate and sharp. After that, not great. Due to privacy I cannot post, but here is the lesson. When a diagnosis is made, especially with a minor, DO NOT invalidate what they are discussing with you. You may never know how big of a problem and lack of trust with professionals that you have now created.
I had to come here for a mental health evaluation for probation. I came in extreme open minded wanting help with my anxiety and anger but being honest was the biggest mistake I could have made! Not only did I not get the help I thought I wanted and needed but I was put in drug classes which has made my probation a living hell. i would not recommend any one to come here. Maybe my experience would have been better had I not been sent through probation. but I feel like I should have gotten the help I voiced i needed considering what this place says they do for people.
Office refused to help us after being two minutes late. They let our daughters medications run out because they claimed to be too busy. People say they care but don’t.
