Sophia is a highly skilled trauma therapist with experience in sex therapy and helping those on the margins navigate recovery. Her warm and compassionate energy create the kind of environment that facilitates change, healing and growth. The office is absolutely stunning and has many accommodations (to say nothing of the historic Monadnok building): there is a private waiting room separate from the treatment room with plenty of seating and a hot beverage and water station. The treatment room has a large couch suitable for multiple bodies of varying size to sit and a large window with a beautiful view (that can also be shaded). There are gender neutral restrooms on the 5th floor of the building and the building has elevators in the front and back.
I highly recommend Sophia, particularly for those looking for support with sexual and identity-based shame and stigma. She is a relational therapist and is trained in EMDR.
