I have been going to Rachel for massages regularly for several years, since before she opened Kinesthesia. I've had a few back and neck injuries over the years, and getting deep tissue massages from her has been a very helpful part of my maintenance as she finds and works out whatever knots I have in my muscles. I have also gone to her for a relaxation massage. Rachel is always very pleasant and caring in her demeanor. Whatever your massage needs, she will work with you to tailor your massage experience.
Rachel Thompson is an expert in her field. She displays absolute professionalism, authenticity, knowledge and genuine desire to connect with her clients. She seeks to understand the full scope of each client’s journey as to best care for them based on physical, mental and emotional aspects that may be causing pain in the body. Her consideration and attention to detail, following up with clients on how they’re feeling and providing multiple resources to help clients in any way possible are all things that set her apart from others in her field. She makes clients feel comfortable and cared for in every appointment. I highly recommend her!
Rachel is truly a remarkable body worker (super strong!) and life coach. She understands the body/mind connection deeply and takes an incredibly holistic approach with each individual. Rachel's approach meets every being where they are in this very moment- and is inclusive, open, non-judgmental, and ultimately incredibly empowering. Rachel's talent and intuitive understanding of the body has provided tremendous relief to me both physically and spiritually. Thank you!
An excellent therapist with a great understanding of the body, its knots and its tensions. Professionalism, friendliness, healing hands. Everything one needs from a healthcare provider.
I highly recommend Rachel from Kinesthesia. I have been getting massages from Rachel for a few years and she has greatly improved the chronic neck and shoulder pain I have experienced and helped improve flexibility throughout my body. She is an expert on muscles and fascia and knows how to relieve muscle knots and tension. I have even tried the earseeds she offers and felt they enhanced the positive effects of the massages. I am very happy with the positive effects of Rachel's massages and highly recommend her.
Rachel is wonderful, competent and caring. She has greatly assisted me with my mobility and independence. She is definitely part of my wellness plan!
After being referred to Rachel by my PT, I could not be more happy with the referral! Rachel was really easy to contact and schedule an appointment with. She's couldn't have been more friendly and walked me through the entire treatment process and what I should expect. She also gave me a couple useful day-to-day tips about how I can help manage my injury.
Best massage ever! Rachel is fantastic. She has the most wonderful touch and the constant contact is calming and feels so nice. But I think her number one attribute is that she listens. I do lots of sports and have a continuous string of annoying aches or tight muscles. Rachel listens and goes straight to work finding the problem area in minutes. Every time I leave I feel like a new person. On top of all that, she is incredibly positive and a pleasure to be around.
Rachel has such gifted hands. She helped restore order to my neck, shoulders & back, all of which were in need of attention due to constant tension. I feel so much better that I have in a long time. I will definitely be returning soon.
