Wish I could give more stars just for the their roster of therapists. Lovely people; however, their support staff is next to non-existent. Expect surprise bills because suddenly youre no longer in network after being in network for so long and an office that will always send you to voicemail. Try emailing them? Good luck! You gotta wait a random amount of time to get a response or get none at all. I'd look elsewhere for your own mental health's sake...

I’ve been trying to contact this office for a week straight, I’ve sent emails, called, by university has also left emails and calls as I was a previous patient. I am also now hoping to begin counseling again and they will not get in touch with me. Very disappointing because I did have a positive experience with them last year.

If you're interested in a therapist at this practice just know they don't allow consultations or any form of contact until you've completed an intake and have signed up so they can charge you. This is not the normal practice in the industry. I find this to be an inexcusable, completely unprofessional, unethical practice to not even allow questions over email. This speaks volumes about the character of their management team. Theres also such a lack of quality poc/ black therapists in Chicago and it upsets me that people of color are having to go through such a predatory process just to get care. Clients should have the opportunity to ask questions and ensure they feel comfortable with a therapist before committing to sessions. This practice ensures transparency, builds trust, and aligns with ethical standards in the field of mental health. Edit response to your reply: All this reply is telling me is that you're now offering a poorer quality service to your potential clients, you've over worked your staff and mismanaged their schedules. Why book your therapists so full that you don't even pencil in necessary time for answering a simple emails or consultations? It just sounds like you're prioritizing money over quality care. An intake coordinator can't replace direct communication. If this is Amari Jackson the founder seriously rethink this practice or find some other compromise find other ways to make your business sustainable able I don't like leaving this type of review on a black business
