As a fellow therapy practice owner, Empowered Connections is a practice I can always refer to with confidence. I know and trust the practice owner who cares about supporting a positive culture, and the professionalism and skill of her staff. I highly recommend this practice.
Empowered Connections Counseling offers a compassionate, inclusive, and non-judgmental environment where clients feel truly seen and supported. I wholeheartedly trust this team and confidently refer clients, knowing they’ll be well cared for.
I've been a client at Empowered Connections for about a year now and have recommended it to a handful of my friends who also do therapy there now. I do virtual therapy, which has worked out with my schedule - very flexible staff!
I have been working with Katie Mason for years and she has been the best therapist I have ever had. She always validates my feelings and doesnt make me feel judged or strange. She helped me get in contact with great doctors and psychiatrists:-) I value her so much ❤️😊
I've been working with Joanna Zakhem, at ECC, for almost seven years. It took me a long time to muster up the courage to finally want to get my life right and I can't imagine I'd be who I am today without the guidance and assistance she's given me. I've garnered tools and skills to be able to approach any situation and work through things thoughtfully and when I make mistakes (as we tend to do) I know longer hate myself for being imperfect. I can not tell you enough that the therapists at this clinic are one of a kind and if you're open to it, they could help give you the tools to be who you've always believed you are.
I have been a patient at Empowered Connections Counseling for years! I always feel supported not only in my therapy but with any administrative or insurance issues. I highly recommend them for counseling. I have been with my therapist since 2017 and have had a family member and myself have additional therapy with another therapist there. Both are amazing!
I've been seeing my therapist with ECC going on 3.5 years and can't say enough wonderful things. Can't imagine my life without ECC or the tools I've learned that empower me every single day.
ECC is an accepting and wonderful counseling group. The clinicians at ECC take the time to really understand their clients and work hard to make sure they are supported. I really appreciate their attention to helping people and would strongly recommend them as a counseling practice!
ECC is a practice of dedicated and caring therapists, focused on meeting the needs of their clients. They show a dedication to meeting people where they are with a strong sense of integrity, compassion, and a willingness to go above and beyond to help people reach their goals. I would highly recommend working with any of the therapists at ECC!!
I was referred out to other clinicians because my therapist “couldn’t hold space for me anymore.” I wouldn’t recommend working with Katie Mason. I was seeing her to work on my relationship with food and my body. One of the referrals she gave me was to someone who specialized in weight loss. When I brought it up, she told me some people work both from a Health At Every Size and weight loss approach. As a therapist myself, this is the farthest thing from the truth. She discharged me with one termination session even though she had told me she could continue working with me. She suddenly changed her mind & couldn’t tell me why she couldn’t work with me anymore. As a therapist myself, I would never do this to a client, especially a client who I knew had severe attachment wounds. I won’t ever recommend this practice or Katie to anyone. I’ve had to find a new therapist to heal from the trauma this has caused me.
