As a neuropsychologist in Chicago, I am often referring to and collaborating with psychiatrists. Dr. Smyth and Jen Offen are two of my favorites! They are thoughtful, compassionate, and responsive. When referring a client to them, I know the child and their family are well cared for. Highly recommend.
ADHD and anxiety run in our family. Dr. Smyth has been extremely helpful in helping us treat these issues in a variety of ways. She has also been helpful in providing recommendations for other providers as needed.
Dr. Smythe told my daughter who suffers from disordered eating and also Celiac disease that she should eat bread and butter. Nope. $600 for an appointment to get meds refilled and advice that would harm my daughter. She also poked fun at my backpack. We did not go back.
