Dr. Aarti Mehta has changed our family’s life. She has exceptional insights into her patients and highly skilled at finding the right medication protocol to alleviate the distress suffered by patients with psychological illness. She truly cares about her patients and it shows with the results she is able to achieve.

I honestly think the negative reviews may have confused Dr. Mehta with someone else. I have seen her on and off for the past (nearly) decade for both medication management and therapy, and she is incredibly kind and gentle. In medication management, she is extremely efficient, and she takes the time to listen, learn, and then talk through options that would work best for you. In therapy, she is also patient—but maybe more importantly (at least for me), she is incredibly smart and approaches things from multiple perspectives, asking creative questions that have allowed me to see myself (and my MDD) in a more positive, gentler light.

I've been seeing Dr. Mehta for almost three years now, and she has been nothing short of fantastic for my mental health. I wouldn't be where I am today without her. She's patient, understanding, and helps me come to conclusions on my own, which I value. She's the best of the best!!

I totally agree--the negative reviews don't make any sense. Dr. Mehta is one of the kindest, most patient and trustworthy doctors I have met. She remembers everything about me, really tries to make a difference in my life, and has helped me through some of the most difficult times. She is unbelievably responsive to emails (I mean, you can email her directly!!) and takes time outside of appointments to speak with my family (with my permission). Her gentle demeanor and patient listening make me feel so comfortable. Take it from me. I have seen plenty of psychiatrists in my days, and Dr. Mehta stands out as one of the best.

Dr Mehta is one of the best psychiatrists I’ve had. She’s always a pleasure for me to see, great energy and vibes all the way. Please overlook the negative comments that have been left as a review until you have had your own experience and opportunity to allow her to be an positive support for your own mental health care and wellbeing needs. Although she does not accept any insurance for her own billing, it is well worth the out of pocket money that I use even though I have great insurance. Psychiatrists are very hard to find that are as good as she has been and are more flexible in her scheduling with options for teleappointment’s for busy adults needs after initial appointments and positive patient/Dr relationship is established. Nothing but great things for me, so if your in search of a good psychiatrists I’d say make a an option for yourself to try first instead of taking into account the few negative reviews I have ironically just read for someone else looking for a good referral to a new psychiatrist while sharing her info. Thank you Dr Mehta for all you do and for making my own pt/dr relationship a positive experience for myself the last couple years.
