Jocelyn has been wonderful to work with. She is very thorough, explains everything clearly, and provides all the necessary information throughout each session. I already notice small improvements and feel confident in the process thanks to her care and expertise.
I am training for my first ever marathon. As I was ramping up my miles, I began experiencing severe hip and leg pain. My primary care physician referred me to Doctors of Physical Therapy for treatment. Making an appointment as a new patient was very easy, the administrative staff were very welcoming and helpful. I was seen by Angie who did a thorough evaluation and came up with a clear plan to regain mobility without pain. Within a week of doing my homework exercises I felt so much better, and I was able to continue my running program without interruption. I cannot speak highly enough of my experience – they are wonderful!
My 1st visit the pain was at a 10 from my left buttock to my calf. Today the pain is very minimal at a 3.
10/10, would use them again. Jocelyn is great at her job, would absolutely recommend her.
This is long overdue recognition of the fantastic team at Doctors of Physical Therapy on Clark St. Last year, I was suffering from terrible shoulder pain and could barely put on a shirt or a coat. I was referred to this office by my doctor and met with Jocelyn, who was both professional, friendly, and fun. In no time, she had me on a treatment plan which lasted for a few months. Katie was my main therapist during most of my time at DPT and she truly worked magic on my shoulder. She's a lovely person too, which helps. I am now recovered fully and back to exercising. I had done PT previously with another company (one of the big names), but DPT was a remarkably different experience. The space is more intimate and focused on the patients. I saw many of the same people throughout my time there and actually enjoyed my visits. I would not hesitate to recommend the team on Clark St to my friends and would go there again if I needed to (but hopefully not!).
I saw Jocelyn about a year ago, and I'm still benefiting from her treatment. I came in with severe pain - numbness in my fingers, shooting pain and tingling down my hands. I couldn't hold a pen or tie my shoe laces. I was worried that this was a permanent condition. Jocelyn healed me! She took the care and time to thoroughly investigate and diagnose the source of the problem. The problem was in my neck - wow. She did great treatment at the office and gave me exercises to do at home. After just 2 sessions, I was 90% better. As I progressed she changed the treatment and added more exercises for me to do at home. I am so grateful to Jocelyn. In addition to being a highly competent physical therapist, Jocelyn is a good person and a pleasure to be around. I was a teeny bit sad when she said she was ready to 'dismiss' me. If you have any issues that need physical therapy, just come here. She's the best physical therapist ever!
Metro Spine and Sports is the best physical therapy clinic I have ever been to. All physical therapists are professional, knowledgeable, and really care for you. They take time to understand your situation, build a plan that will help you and works for your situation. Jocelyn is a great professional who really cares, and follows-up. Highly recommend this clinic!
Metro Spine & Sports is by far the best physical therapy experience I've ever had. I would – and have – recommended them to my friends. The minute you walk in, you can immediately feel the good vibes. It's just a nice place to be – and that's mostly because of the staff. Jocelyn is kind, a good listener, and above all an extremely competent therapist. I had just started playing basketball, basically for the first time at age 40. So, as you may have guessed, I had a string of injuries. Jocelyn worked with me – creaking body part, by creaking body part – until I was ready to get back on the court. For me, that meant fixing my shoulders, lower-back, and left foot. It was quite an endeavor! Throughout the process, Jocelyn checked in regularly to make sure I was comfortable with the rate of progress as well as the intensity of the workouts. And, very importantly, she took the time to explain the underlying problems which caused my injuries and provided me with exercises to help avoid similar injuries in the future. So now I can do those exercises at home (for free) and not have to return to therapy (or hopefully at least not for a while). And, finally, I gotta shout-out Heaven, Jocelyn's office assistant, resident artist, and occasional PT helper. She's also lovely and a big contributor to the good vibes.
From the very first time I walked into Metro Spine and sport it’s been nothing but magical! Heaven the receptionist is such a delight always happy and cheerful! Jocelyn my physical therapist is so smart and full of knowledge. I don’t feel like a random person when I am there. It is never over crowded and she doesn’t run behind with her schedule. I can honestly say they truly care about patients which is a great feeling!
Metro Spine & Sports is absolutely fantastic. Within two years of ACL surgery, I was able to run the Chicago Marathon and complete an IRONMAN race in Louisville, KY. Thank you Jocelyn, Petar, Kelly, and Keith. You changed my life!
