Excellent experience. Easy sign up had an appointment within 48 hours and maybe I was lucky maybe not but absolutely loved the DO Physician I worked with today.

This place is a mess. No communication between patients, staff, doctors, etc. Made an appointment in person and drove to the clinic to find that the dr only sees patients online. Obv info the practice should know and convey but they didn't tell us until we'd arrived. Then Dr. abruptly left the practice and NO ONE told us even though we had an appointment scheduled with him. Even on the day of that appointment, no one notified us even as we waited for 20 minutes online for the appointment to start. Finally someone called us to tell us the dr wasn't going to turn up for the appointment... because he didn't work there anymore. These are only two examples among many.

Five stars for Carly as a TMS tech!! So sweet and Laila was great too :) Unrelated to them, I did have a psychiatrist at Clarity cancel on me after booking over a month in advance and was told that her next availability was in January. This didn’t feel fair to me

I can't recommend Savanna Murphy enough! I've been seeing her for nearly two years now and she has been such fantastic resource for me. She makes every interaction so comfortable and I am so grateful I chose her out of the many options at Clarity Clinic.

They canceled my apt because there was apparently an outstanding balance on the account. They did not provide a payment link or option before canceling the apt. They called at 12:30 the day before and upon calling back to get a list of said missed appointments and figure out how to make a payment I was sent to voicemail and no instructions on how to reinstate my appointment that was less than 24 hours out. For how automated their system is to cancel appointments I would hope there was a link attached to the cancellation email.

First, the good. The therapists have been excellent. They clearly explained how medications work and understood how ADHD impacts students. Now, the not-so-good. The communication with the office staff and the therapists is HORRIBLE! The only way to directly communicate with a therapist is thru the patient portal. It promises a response within 24 hours, but that has not been my experience. It is pointless to even try. Calls to the office only result in them flagging a message with an Urgent status. Messages left with the front office go unanswered. An appointment was abruptly cancelled at the last minute with no attention to providing alternative coverage. I also second the frustration over how they handled the BCBS billing issue. They acknowledged their error yet, months later, have not adjusted incorrect charges on my account. Only come here if you can handle the frustration of their maddening systems and a revolving door of therapists.

My psych is great but the front desk staff is kind of rude if they feel at all inconvenienced. There was a billing issue with the entirety of BCBS and the clinic and they still have not sorted that whole thing out. You’d think by now front desk would send folks to billing before getting frustrated and saying the wrong thing.

Dr. Kristen Frogner is outstanding! From our very first session, she made me feel heard, respected, and supported. Her calm and compassionate demeanor put me at ease right away. She takes the time to listen thoughtfully and tailors her treatment to meet my specific needs. Her expertise and guidance have significantly impacted my mental health. I highly recommend Dr. Frogner and Clarity Clinic to anyone seeking quality, patient-centered care in Chicago.

I’ve been working with Nicholas Olivas for about a month now, and I can’t express how grateful I am for the care and professionalism he brings to every session and the front desk staff are also very efficient and nice. Together they create a safe, supportive, and nonjudgmental space that makes it easy to open up and work through difficult emotions. His insight, patience, and genuine compassion have made my week easier to cope with. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a skilled and empathetic therapist.

I liked my therapist and found her incredibly helpful. Eventually our schedules didn't align and I unfortunately stopped seeing her. The issues weren't with her though. When I first tried to book an appointment, I somehow created two accounts. I called the clinic and was told it was resolved. Yet, I still couldn't book online appointments. So I called again. Rinse and repeat until they said they'd have to send IT a ticket to merge my accounts. Meanwhile, I changed jobs and got new insurance. I asked where to send my new card and was provided an email address. I sent it there, and got a thank you in response, but my insurance wasn't changed or applied as I got a bill and a message from Clarity explaining my insurance wasn't valid. I had to explain the situation again and provided the email thread. I was then told it was updated. Late last year, I got married and changed my name. I sent in my new insurance cards with my new name, but got no response. I just logged into the portal and it still has my old name. I will give my former therapist credit as when I told her about the issues I was having, she said she would figure out what was happening on her end. But all the issues I had...not worth it.
