I recently worked with Marko Mihailovic, LCPC, to help me get my mental groove back. I was diagnosed with ADHD many years ago, and with a good medication treatment plan, I've done really well with it until recently. About a year ago, I started having more difficulty concentrating, started losing more battles to procrastination, and learning new things stopped being fun. I talked about this with a counselor friend who recommended I meet with Marko. He helped me to re-engage the many habits and thought processes that can help someone like me with ADHD live a good life. We talked each week and worked through a great ADHD program based on Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) practices. Marko guided and helped me focus on the tasks within the program that would best get me back to full productivity. Since my sessions with Marko, I have felt re-energized. I didn't need to concede any victory to age or to ADHD. I just needed to better understand it, better understand myself, and commit to myself that I was not going to settle for anything less than what I remembered as my best years. I know now that some of those best years are still ahead of me.

I have been taking classes on line with Mila Apostolovic for the past several months and I can’t stop raving about her and the quality of the classes. They are intense and challenging but Mila is so encouraging to all, regardless of personal level. I would encourage anyone to attend her classes on line or on line!

I highly recommend Marko Mihailovic as a therapist. He is a warm soul, a great listener, but he also makes use of evidence-based cognitive and CBT approaches that help you become aware of, and change, your ways of thinking, so that your life becomes easier to manage, your difficulties rendered less chaotic and overwhelming but more in perspective, and the meaning of your life more richly delineated. A really great therapist.

I love how Mila tries to make things challenging but not so much that you can't eventually succeed. It's a great feeling when an exercise that I couldn't quite get right in week one is so easy just a few weeks later-I can tell my brain and body are working better together. The passion that Mila has is evident at each session. She has fun teaching which makes it fun to learn and keeps me wanting to go back.

Marko has been a colleague of mine since 2007. I was always impressed with his professional stance, compassion and sophisticated knowledge which he has related to his clients throughout the years, making a difference in their overall life and level of functioning. I highly recommend his services if you are in need and in the downtown area.

I have worked with Mila on and off for the last 10 years and during that time period, she has consistently found ways to motivate me, push me to the next level, humble me, love and hate every minute of her classes and so forth! She has a complete and holistic approach to her teaching and is always learning new skills to add to her tool bag. Whether you are trying to drop a few pounds, boost your energy level, take on the next physical challenge or simply need a good workout that causes soreness for 2-3 days....give her class a try. You wont regret it!
