I've had the privilege of working with both Dr. Lakin Starr and Dr. Goldberg. They are knowledgeable, empathic, and experts. They are great at listening, and also provide specific strategies to help me improve. I highly recommend them both!!
Well my experience started out good but didn’t end that way. I was seeing Dr.Crawford. After some self reflection, I decided WE are not a good fit for one another. Reasons: I do all the talking, there are times we are both looking for something to say to one another, if you don’t cancel in 48 hours they will charge you More than the session. I cancelled on a Sunday morning for appt on Monday @ 4. I called on Monday, spoke w Dr & was never asked if everything was OK. JUST HAD A DEATH IN MY FAMILY!!! Now you know & you want to meet! OK we will meet and then Never Ever again! No empathy for someone that is in the role of helping people. She know she hasn’t helped me in our last 3 meetings stop playing. Hopefully someone will see this and respond. What is a good reason to cancel? Work with me not against me! Especially knowing what she knows, you would think she would have shown some type of concern or ask about rescheduling But Hey, we will meet while at the home of the deceased….Get your money!!!
Dr. Lakin-Starr and Dr. Goldberg are both incredible therapists. I highly recommend this practice.
