Great location, cozy rooms, and really nice people! Next step counseling offers in-person/online hybrid therapists in downtown Chicago which fits my schedule perfectly. I have been working with Mackenzie for the past few months. She is an incredible listener and has offered some amazing advice. I am genuinely excited for my upcoming meetings because I know that it is a safe space and that it will end up being productive no matter what. I loving not stressing about always leading the topics because she is able to pickup on subtle issues that deserve more time as we talk. If you are new to therapy like me then this is a wonderful place to start
The owner and clinicians at Next Step Counseling go above and beyond to provide effective, ethical, and conscientious counseling to people who are struggling in various areas of life. As a clinician I feel confident in referring individuals and couples to the practice and know that they will be greeted with warmth and treated with respect. I highly recommend them as one of the premier counseling practices in the city.
Next Step Counseling is our go-to practice for sending referrals. If you feel like starting the process of therapy might be overwhelming, NSC makes the transition seamless, from starting the process with the admin team, helping to determine insurance benefits, to setting up appointments with a therapist who best fits your needs. The therapists there are warm, supportive, and thoughtful in their care. Highly recommended this practice!
I highly recommend Holly at Next Step Counseling, especially if you are looking to connect with someone who truly understands infertility and pregnancy loss. Holly makes it easy to discuss these difficult and sometimes uncomfortable topics. She is empathetic, relatable, encouraging, and caring. She goes above and beyond to meet you where you are at while providing you with support and education. I am thankful that I have found her on my journey.
I have been seeing Anthony at Next Step Counseling for over a year now and I never want a different therapist. This office hires TOP NOTCH people and has taken such good care of me, including adapting to virtual visits and insurance updates due to Covid. I highly recommend Anthony and the rest of the Next Step Team!!!
