I had an extremely disappointing experience with this office. After waiting nearly three months for an appointment, I drove 50 miles—taking time off work and pulling my daughter out of school—only to be turned away. On the morning of the appointment, there were multiple accidents causing major traffic delays. I called the office three separate times to let them know I was stuck in traffic, and each time I was reassured that arriving within a 15–20 minute grace period would be okay. I arrived at 10:15, exactly within that window, and was still refused service and told I had to reschedule. There was no empathy, no understanding, and no flexibility—just a cold response. As a parent trying to advocate for my child, this was incredibly frustrating and disheartening. The staff made me feel judged rather than supported, which is the last thing you expect in a children’s psychology setting. After all that inconvenience, the only thing they offered were referrals to other providers in my area—which should have been suggested from the beginning instead of sending me 50 miles away. I will not be returning, and I would not recommend this office to other families. Parents deserve compassion, communication, and basic respect—none of which I experienced here
I have never been treated so poorly by someone who claims she’s there to help. She deceived me, and ignored me. I sincerely hope she finds the career that is meant for her, because she does not have the capability to help another person find the help they need.
