Brooks Rehabilitation Outpatient Clinic - Riverside Healthy Living Center — Physical therapy clinic in Jacksonville, FL

I've been doing rehab with Nancy at Brooks in Riverside due to my knee replacement. Nancy has been so patient with me and I know I'm not the easiest patient. She has helped me tremendously with her knowledge, encouragement and most incredibly, her patience! Truly, I'm not sure if I could do it if it wasn't for her!

Jeremy, the clinic manager, is both very knowledgeable and patient.

Brendan (Riverside Brooks YMCA location) made my health recovery such an easy process; Everything from the exercises/working App (to show clips of how to perform exercises on your own), to the progress reports and modifications if anything was bothering me... He exhibited that he is an exceptional therapist who truly cares about his patients. His level of professionalism combined with his compassionate interactions with each patient makes him stand out above the rest! Jordan was also awesome and worked in tandem w/ Brendan sometimes to help support the patients during therapy. 10/10 would recommend Brendan's and Brooks/Riverside YMCA to anyone needing any kind of physical therapy for an injury!

My experience with Brooks Rehab Hospital was very disappointing. After providing my insurance information and requesting the cost of the physical therapy service a week before my appointment, I was assured that the department would review it and call me back with the details. That call never came. When I arrived at the appointment, I repeatedly asked for the cost and was told that they still did not know. To my surprise, I was informed that I would only be told the price AFTER completing the session, or I could reschedule the appointment for two weeks later just to check the cost, by which point my injury would likely have already improved. Imagine going through a service without any idea of the cost. This lack of transparency was unacceptable, and I had no choice but to leave without receiving the physical therapy I needed for my injury. I would not recommend coming here for your physical therapy needs.

Jarami is absolutely one of the most knowledgeable therapist Brooks has to offer. Kudos to Dr. Dempsey a top of the line Brooks physician!! I have had shoulder issues, a broken bone, and shoulder problem affecting posture. I have been treated at Brooks Winston YMCA, every time I left treatment with stronger mobility. You will be satisfied with PT at Brooks, specifically Brooks Winston YMCA (Riverside).

Thrilled with the results. I was told I would probably need hip replacement surgery by my doctor. I was in a lot of pain and had to rely on a cane most of the time. I had not been happy with previous rehab I had in the past. Went to Brooks located in the Riverside YMCA building because I had seen them there working with patients. Asked my Doctor for a referral as a last ditch effort to avoid surgery or steroid injections. After a few sessions with Judd I feel like a new person! I can walk without a cane or pain! Hanna who handles scheduling is also a delight to work with.

They have taken very good care of me and helped rehab my shoulder. Love ‘em all !

The therapists are very helpful and Hillary is so helpful getting you registered and in the schedule!

I love this place. Been going here since last year, for my shoulder.When I found out I had to have surgery,I went back to this location for my post op shoulder surgery rehab and I’m still here. Great team. My favorite person is Dominique Wiggins, she is very outgoing and funny. She will make a bad day turn good. I’m going to miss this place once I complete therapy. Would highly recommend and will definitely come back for future problems.
