Mike does a great job delivering Vertex Wildcats football groups twice a week (Monday and Thursday) to large numbers of 5-11 year old girls. My daughter has been attending since early 2022 and has loved attending these fun football sessions designed to foster teamwork, agility, mental resilience and lots of other football skills. Mike and his team are great at thinking holistically about the sport and pass this knowledge and passion onto the girls involved. Partnering with Hallam and Redmires Rangers girl teams also allows girls to progress from 'football just for fun' to playing in junior league teams, with Hallam and Redmires Rangers being one of the few clubs in Sheffield with all-girls teams rather than mixed teams. I would highly recommend Vertex Wildcats to any parent in Sheffield with a daughter interested in trying out football.
