I recently saw a female therapist and she was very understanding and helpful. Listened to my problems and was very caring.

I have constantly been refused to be seen, despite having several serious mental illness diagnoses, and previously having been in the service as a patient for 12 years, before just being discarded when Argyll House closed. I am so ill, I haven't left my flat in 4 years, and staff here couldn't care less about patients on the brink of suicide, and just palm people off to social care services, when they're desperately mentally ill, which is beyond absolutely disgraceful. Thank you for giving me no option but to end my life.....

The staff received my phone call is really rude and irresponsible, you can’t imagine how rude she is! Can we treat people with mental health issues with a little bit of kindness is that too much to ask??!

A visit to A & E approximatly 3 months ago due to my mntal health severity. The psychologists there stated they would be an advoctae for me and Neatherthope house, regardless of the past incompitancies/incompitanies, And, under the seriousness of my situation Neatherthorpe would have work with me. Neatherthrope house have as yet NOT contacted me at all, a vunerable adult who was in a state at A & E mentally. Disgusting and shocking. Accountability comes to mind!!!! I strongly suggest keeping away from the them. Not trustworthy to do what they promise, don't take responsiblility for repeated mistakes, don't work with other mental-health professionals involved with my case. Not a professional service.

I think the place is' incompetent'. A while go accessed the service which took many months. Had an assessment for 2 hours, as I was mentally in a very serious place. I had to follow it up myself twice as to when I would get help, but finaly many months later had a letter to see a psychologist to see what they were going to do for me. She, the 'psychologist' just sat there with the guy who accessed me (in which he never said a word but just stared at me constantly). The 'psychologist took a few notes and said, '' have you thought of going to IAPPS'', in which i pointed out that if she had read the information from the GP she would not have suggested it, as it was no good for me. she clearly had not bothered to check the contact information from the gp and so that was that. What a waste of my time and false building up of my hopes, the hopes of a vunerable adult. I never heard from them again, nothing. and I am wise enough NOT trust them at all.

1 of the women who answers the phone needs to go on a refresher course when it comes to speaking to people- especially people with mental health problems- the services that are provided here are ok- waiting lists can be long! But they here to help Adults with mental health problems!

I saw Ethan back in May 2018...who appeared understanding & helpful! I thought I finally was going to get the help I needed. He promised me appointments with all the right people and I left feeling that finally after all these years I was heading in the right direction. The only help I received, was a group meeting with strangers?? My worst nightmare tbh so I didn’t go, I waited for the other help??? Appointments??? I received NOTHING else. Meantime he advised I did not go to doctors or start any new tablets as I would be seen by a doctor. So thanks Ethan you have proper left me out to dry. Meantime my life has been a living hell. If I could have given ZERO STARS I would have!!

Found my visit very confusing. Didn't understand what the doctor was saying as he was rushing my appointment. Felt very disappointed with the whole experience .

Very good and kind staff. Mental health services are essential but are severely under funded.

As well meaning as the staff may well be, the service is not fit for purpose. Massively underfunded and the service delivered reflects this.
