The course was fantastic — it helped me identify and safely push my physical limits despite having a condition that causes chronic fatigue. The guided, controlled approach taught me how to challenge myself without overdoing it, something I wouldn’t have known how to do on my own. Beyond exercise, the course gave practical advice on caring for myself physically and mentally during flare-ups or pain. Overall, it’s been empowering and genuinely improved how I manage my condition.

Ive just completed 5 weeks of physio through the work well programme with Keown at Barnsley and wanted to provide some feedback which i hope you can share with him. Keown is a fantastic physio – professional, knowledgeable, supportive and made a real positive difference. He provided excellent treatment with clear guidance throughout. He's very friendly, skilled, and genuinely caring. I couldn’t have asked for better support.

It has been a while since I had my sessions with Adam but they have helped me so much since having them. I have a number of long term conditions that result in mild to moderate pain on a normal day but also severe pain flare-ups. Adam is super positive and full of energy, he made me realise that the exercises he showed me did not increase by pain and how to push through my self-limiting mind set. I will never be completely pain free but from the routines Adam taught me I can report (9 months later) I am having a lot less severe pain flare ups, my joints/muscles do not feel as stiff and I am feeling stronger. Thank you Adam, especially for putting up with my grumpy, no-can-do attitude during our sessions!

My achilles had been causing me problems for over 2 years. Especially when i woke up in the morning, it felt tender and painful. Within less than a month at Down2U, Adam had helped me get rid of this pain. At least 95% of it. Now I hardly wake up limping or needing to massage my achilles. The exercises suited my problem perfectly and I strongly believe that it wouldn't be the case if I hadn't sought help from Adam and his Physiotherapy knowledge

Last year my life got turned upside down, usually a fit and well 32 year-old woman with a full but blessed life, including a husband, two beautiful young children, loving wider family, Church and a nursing career I loved on ITU. I suddenly began developing symptoms affecting my sight, ability to swallow, limb movement, coordination, pain and strength. After the initial scans confirmed that what they currently suspected wasn’t life-threatening, I was put on an extremely long waiting list to see various Specialists to explore the possible diagnosis of a condition called Gillian barre syndrome. In this waiting period I was seen by multiple NHS physios who spent most of the session discussing my possible condition and no help or advise on how to alleviate any of my symptoms. I paid to see private chiropractors, rheumatologists seeking help and all just wanted more tests carried out and no one offered any help to alleviate any of my symptoms. At this point I was still unable work, to pick my children up in my arms, chop food without cutting myself or dropping when serving the plates, sleep or do any of my usual Daily chores without poor coordination, weakness, pain and pins/needles in my limbs. A friend from Church recommended Adam Sui, and down 2 U physio services to me. Sceptical, as no one else had managed to offer any help, I felt desperate enough to sign up for a session. When I first met Adam I noticed straight away his approach was extremely different to anyone else I had visited. I quickly noted that he cared about getting me back to work, and back to doing the things I enjoyed ASAP! His holistic approach made sure all areas suffering in my life were covered, and gave techniques that I could use at work and home that would fit into my lifestyle. Not only that, his anatomy and physiology knowledge was outstanding! Every pain and pins/needles area I turned up with, he knew straight away the nerve controlling the area and how to alleviate the symptoms. Still sceptical (a neuro/spinal ITU nurse), I decided to thoroughly put these techniques to the test. I wrote a diary of my symptoms and how I had managed the day with and without doing the techniques Adam had shown me. And there was a dramatic difference. By session 5 my strength and confidence was increasing and I knew that the techniques I had learnt were working. There are not enough words to describe my gratitude! Even when my symptoms have flared up, Adam met me where I was, and encouraged me to start going through the techniques gently again without giving up. Again they worked but this time I now had empowerment to go back to Work knowing there was a solution for every time my symptoms flared! I am still under investigation however the quality of my living is great again. As a byproduct I am no longer anxious about tomorrow as I feel equipped. My strength is increasing, I’m lifting my children playfully again, I’m back at work, swimming and giving thanks to God for Down 2U physio services! If your struggling please book a session and put the techniques to the test. Nothing to lose, everything to gain!

Adam and Keown have been very helpful in my recovery. Went in with knee pains from a hip injury affecting my squatting and these 2 taught me ways to release the knots and tension in my legs as well as more explosive movements to improve my body’s function and efficiency. Would definitely recommend

My experience at the Down2You service has been truly positive and incredibly rewarding. I didn’t realise just how much the sessions I attended would improve my mindset, mental health, and even my physical wellbeing. I would like to express my deepest gratitude to Adam, who has been an exceptional guide, trainer, and physiotherapist throughout my journey. He consistently goes above and beyond to ensure his clients feel fully supported, not only physically, but emotionally and mentally as well. Through these sessions, I have learned so much about managing both physical and mental pain in a healthier way. Adam has taught me techniques and coping strategies that I know will stay with me for life. His advice and guidance will always remain in my mind whenever I face challenges or moments of struggle. Adam is full of positivity and encouragement, and he pushed me to discover my strength while also helping me understand how to manage my weaknesses with confidence. Working alongside him has been a genuinely life-changing experience, and I would highly recommend Down2You, and Adam in particular, to anyone who needs that kind of support. I will forever be grateful.

Adam at Down2u is my go to physio every time I need help and support with pains usually caused by over exercise. His professional approach, thorough assessment and clear treatment plans are exactly what I need and help me recover and get back to what I love doing. I would throughly recommend Adam every time

I came to Adam with sciatica, a slipped disc and a walking stick. I was starting to wonder whether an electric wheelchair would be in my near future but thanks to Adam's knowledge, motivation and reassurance, he had me lifting 50kgs and making my sciatic pain a thing of the past. I now work full time in retail, keeping on top of my conditions with exercises that Adam taught me and I can do at home. He was always warm and encouraging but also professional and challenged me fairly.
