I had an amazing first experience at Thy spa Oxford - I booked the back, neck and shoulders massage. Beforehand I was a little nervous that it would be too painful, but Ms Tommi checked that the pressure was comfortable and asked if there were any particular problem areas and I left feeling relaxed and refreshed. The massage takes place in a room with other people (with curtains separating the massage beds) which didnβt bother me but is worth mentioning! There are lockers in the shared changing room for your belongings which was useful as I had a lot of belongings. The staff were super friendly overall, will definitely be returning next time I am in Oxford!
Absolutely phenomenal. Me and the Mrs love this place. Most relaxing and stress relieving Thai massage we've had. Thank you. We will be back, hopefully monthly! Highly recommend!
My experience at Thy Spa Oxford β¨ I have lived in London for many years and experienced countless massage treatments there, as well as in many cities around the world. With complete honesty, I can say that the massage experience here is among the very best I have ever had. Since moving to Oxford, this has become my regular place, and the reason is Ms. Mom π She is, without any exaggeration, the best massage therapist I have experienced anywhere in the World. Her skill, intuition, and deep understanding of the body are exceptional, and every session leaves me feeling genuinely restored and balanced. The reception team also deserves special thanks. Although I donβt know their names, they are always warm, kind, and welcoming, greeting every guest with genuine smiles and thoughtful care. This is a place I return to with complete trust and appreciation π€ Highly recommended. Thank you to everyone at Thy Spa.
Such disappointment. The massage is in a shared room which means you hear everybody else talking etc. I paid Β£75 for a Thai-oil massage and I only got oil on my back. It was supposed to be full body but she only massaged the lower leg not the full leg nor my buttocks like Thai massage usually involves. She never tried to crack my back. She barely touched me. She was focus in each vertebra at a time. It felt like a strategy to kill time and to avoid giving a massage. Only one stretch of Thai massage involved. Considering the washing of your feet is within the 50 min, you only get 40 min massage for Β£75 in a shared room. Really OVERPRICED! You can get a 1h for Β£70 in a top spa. This 50 min is not honouring Thai culture considering Thai massage is designed for 1h, and on top, they donβt even do it right. I felt they are so scared to touch you, to crack your bones. Probably the therapist can do it but the place feels so methodical, all rushing, treating patients like baguettesβ¦ Not actually FEELING the body to understand where it hurts and needs more attention. The whole place is a white washing take over of the Thai massage. In fact, the therapist didnβt ask me how I felt when she finished. She just vanished. Donβt get fooled by the pictures. The place is nice and the people are polite but I think they are told to do the massage differently to maximise profit so donβt go here.
I go to Thy Spa for a 50 minute Thai-oil combination every month, and have done for years. The whole experience is great - friendly, professional staff, calming atmosphere, so many little details thought about - they even give you Thai pjs and tea to get you in the mood! Iβve worked with several of the team and they are all fantastic at their jobs. Recently I always request Mr Ice. I think heβs amazing, and Iβm particularly impressed by how he seems to remember everything I say from previous visits and is gradually getting to know my body over time. It feels like each session is better than the last! π€―π₯°π₯³
I had an amazing first time with my friend, the service was impeccable and the staff were lovely. The masseuse know their pressures well and have a secret talent of finding sore and tight spots! Will definitely come again when I am in Oxford next time!
Absolutely wonderful experience! One of the best Thai massages Iβve had. The ambiance was calming, the staff were very professional, and the Thai massage was so relaxing. Every detail was taken care of, making it a truly rejuvenating visit. Highly recommended for anyone looking to unwind and feel refreshed.
As a regular I had a wonderful experience at Thy Spa. The atmosphere was calm and welcoming, and the staff, especially Tony were professional and kind. The massage was incredibly relaxing with perfect pressure, leaving me feeling refreshed and rejuvenated. Highly recommend and will definitely return!
Amazing experience with Ms. Ura today. I've had her as my masseur numerous times already and she never fails to deliver excellent service. She's always there to help me out, and goes above and beyond the call of duty to lend a hand. She even got out of the premises just to support me when walking inside as I have mobility issues. She ensures that l'm comfortable throughout the treatment and is able to put just enough pressure when giving massage as I'm quite petite. Even though my appointment was for 3 hrs, I feel it's never enough because of the relief her massages give me, I believe every penny is worth it when she's my masseuse and I highly recommend her services!
I had an oil massage for 1 hour 20 minutes and it was very good. Rui (the lady who did the massage) was very kind and asked which areas to focus on and always made sure I was comfortable. Overall great experience from start to finish!
