I've seen Andreas for several sports injuries over the last few years and in each case he's been able to quickly test, diagnose and provide really helpful and accessible exercise programmes which have got me back into action far more quickly than I would have been without. Hopefully my body will hold together for a while and I won't need to be back, but if I run into issues again I won't hesitate!
I had a great experience with Andreas. He is a knowledgeable, personable and no-nonsense physio who supported me with a practical, effective plan to work on long-term injury issues and general strength. Would highly recommend!
I have been very despondent with physiotherapy until I came to see Andreas. Just incredibly impressed with his rigorous, informative and super knowledgeable approach. Transformative . I have a long way to go but I have honestly never experienced such a brilliant service, feeling this physio really cares about the outcome and works with you to achieve your goals in a very considered, professional way. This is what first class looks like.Thank you so much Andreas.
I have been seeing Adelina for a combined back and hip problem. She has been fantastic - made a really thorough assessment of the problem and my needs, devised a plan which was easy to follow on the app, adjusted it according to my progress and throughout has been friendly, kind and encouraging. I definitely recommend her !
I have been seeing Adelina for my high hamstring injury and she is an excellent physio. She listens carefully and is very reassuring. She created a rehab programme that was just the right level of challenge and gave structured progression along with great practical advice. Following her guidance, I was able to keep running and progressing throughout my rehab period and I am now stronger, pain free and back to full training and competing. Adelina made sure the process was really well-supported and she was always willing to answer my questions. It is so good to see the positive outcomes.
When my usual Physio was away, I pulled something in my neck and had to find somewhere else to go. I'd heard good things about Spires Physiotherapy and I am really glad I went. Freya was phenomenal, listened very carefully and explained everything very well. Highly recommend!
I’ve been seeing Adelina at Spires Physiotherapy for rehab after an Achilles tendon rupture and she has been absolutely great. She was very precise with my recovery programme, explained every exercise clearly, and used an app that made it really easy to track progress between sessions. I felt supported the whole way through and always knew what I should be doing. I’d highly recommend her to anyone, especially if you’re recovering from an injury and want to return to sport safely.
I have been seeing Freya at Spires Physiotherapy for a knee problem and have had an excellent experience. Freya is very friendly, approachable, and took the time to carefully assess my condition. She explained everything clearly, personalized the exercises to my specific needs, and made sure to ramp up the difficulty as I got better and stronger. Her supportive and thorough approach made a big difference, and I highly recommend her for any musculoskeletal issues.
Highly Recommended! Life-Changing Physiotherapy with Andreas Georgoulas. Coming to Spires Physiotherapy Oxford through my work insurance was the luckiest coincidence, because Andreas Georgoulas has been, without a doubt, the best physiotherapist I have ever had. For my initial condition, he managed to understand the root cause long before imaging results were available. Over the following months, he expertly guided my recovery using kinesiotherapy, setting a package of tailored exercises via a very easy-to-use app. I recovered double my muscle strength, and I am now confident enough to work out in a local gym he recommended to keep building my hip muscles and potentially avoid surgery! But my experience with Andreas went above and beyond that. When my neck pain flared up—a chronic issue I’d been coping with for two years—he immediately understood how to release the pressure around my shoulder and collarbone through deep tissue massage. I was absolutely over the moon when 70% of the pain improved just after the first treatment. I had genuinely thought I had to live with this pain after seeing other specialists, including chiropractors and osteopaths, without success. I highly recommend Spires Physiotherapy and, in particular, Andreas to anyone struggling with pain. I am confident he will improve your life as he has done for mine!
I started seeing Freya regarding a squatting injury to my lower back. Her sessions were really friendly and informative, addressing my key concerns. After each session, she produced a targeted exercise plan to help during my recovery which was adapted as my range of movement improved. Freya's help has significantly improved the pain and movement in lower back and I am now able to confidently return to my sporting and fitness activities. Thank you so much!
