The doctors and nurses are on holiday or off sick more than they are even in, so support is limited and not sustained

Great doctors and nurses. Matt and dr. Gopall have been really helpful. I was treated very well and felt quite supported by them. Recepcionists are also great.

Wish I could put a 0 star. Do not let your doctor refer you to these guys! You will be waiting 3 months for an appointment just to get no help what so ever. What a disgrace and disappointment. Rude doctors but lovely nurses and reception staff.

I wish I could give 0 stars I hate this place with every fibre of my being they promise you things that they don’t even intent to do/give to you, I’m sure they just tell you what you want to hear so that you will shut up they make my mental health WORSE

Mental health nurse i saw was really dismissive the whole apointment, didnt feel like she listened to me or even cared about what i was saying. she didnt introduce herself, just led me to the room, sat down and asked what i was there for- would have been nice to ease into it espesially with difficult topics. she said to my face i seem fine because i go to work so do i really need mental health support- after years of feeling not sick enough for help she just enhanced that negative feeling. Will be discharing myself in search of somewhere better

Have heard nothing since initial assessment despite saying how desperate I felt and that I’d already been passed from one to another. Was told would be in touch soon. It’s well over 2 months.

After years of trying to get help. J finally thought I had it , I was so relieved! But 2 years later I'm in the same place , but more frustrated after not bring helped! But being dropped after a handful of phone calls! Which only ever lasted 30 mins at most! Which I was rushed through each time! I was constantly being told she was running late for her next appointment! When she wS allready 10-15 mins lste for mine already! Then each call she spent about 10 mins going over my medication , which was allways the same! She got me a occupational therapist and said she was dropping me now! As now I had to work with them instead! I thought maybe now I'll get some help? But no she just tried to interfere with things that she shouldn't have! She didn't listen to me at all , she completely patronised me! I tried to work with her , I was desperate for help, to get better for my family! But I could only take so much , after 7 months I broke fown and had to complain , after getting nowhere and bring refused a appointment ,my gp got me a appointment again with the psychiatrist who dropped me , she then spoke with me but informed me that I'd have no more appointments with her and was going to inform my gp of this! Even though my symptoms are worse now than they were 2 years ago! She has said I'm to work with the occupational therapist, I've been given a new 1 , who I've never met yet , but have a lady who is lovely who works with the occupational therapist, but she only comes once a fortnight , for about 30 mins! And that's it! I've Autism PTSD suspected Adhd and Bpd I've never had any help for any of these. I've struggled all my life , I had a huge breakdown ,twice in 2 years ! But still have no help! The reception staff are lovely, the lady that visits me now , she is too! But she often is unwell , as am i , having a 30 min appointment every 2 weeks is nothing , especially when I feel like i do . Asking for help is not something I normally do., but I was begging for this help for years! I need to be well , for my children,my hubby my parents!,nana etc.... But I've been useless for years! All the psychiatrist s there do is pill push! Which is what she even admitted to me on the last phone call! Before telling me that the only way I was going to get help now , was to work with the occupational therapist!!!! Who I've had for nearly a year now and got nothing from but stress! Aswell as her not listening to me and her causing trouble in my family and relationship with my hubby! No matter what i said she wouldn't listen , it was like she had something against men? She was blaming him for everything that was wrong with me , when I kept repeating over and over , what exactly it was that was causing it , and it was nothing to do with him! It was because of my chronic physical illnesses that stop me from being the mother ,daughter, wife etc.... that I want / should be , That's what is most important to me! Yet I feel useless because of my illnesses , but she just wouldn't listen! She was younger than me and trying to tell me how to get into a routine! Showing me how to brush my teeth! Using actions! Everytime she came she did this! And more ! I'm a 41 year old lady with 2 children both with autism and adhd . She treated me like i was a child! Not a lady who has been running a home for almost 20 years and looking after herself and her family for all this time too! J just needed support! Not to be belittled and made to feel tiny and more pathetic than I did to start with !!!

I can't rate this organisation highly enough. They're clearly stretched to the brink in terms of resources, but they still manage to give their patients the time they need. Alex really goes above and beyond. The reception staff are also wonderful.

They gave me a month's worth of sleeping pills when I was suicidal, knowing that pills are my go-to. The consultant psychiatrist also lied on his report, claiming that had mention certain symptoms which I had not, he twisted what I did say to fit a certain diagnosis just because I had felt it was something different, he discharged me after ONE review when I should have been seeing him at least 6-12 given the diagnosis I came to as well as himself, he also belittled me in front of a student. Also, the CPN claimed that I didn't have bipolar, but only had unipolar depression that just keeps coming back and then looked annoyed how I had scored high enough on the screening test for possible bipolar 1 disorder. Also, one of the other nurses recommended a CBT treatment that was harmful to either of the diagnoses I was given.
