Martina is such a lovely person. We were only able to work with her a short time but I feel she helped my daughter immensely. Happy to recommend her services.

Martina has been fabulous throughout my sessions. I have to be honest and say that I was dreading the experience but as soon as I interacted with Martina I felt relaxed and safe enough to open up. She has a natural ability to listen intently and then feedback in a clear and concise way. The strategies we worked on have made a huge difference to my personal well-being, so for this, I will be eternally grateful to Martina. I have taken so much from my therapy and feel confident in myself again now. This is all thanks to Martina and her expertise. She truly is somebody that I will never forget. Thank you Martina. I owe so much to you.

Hearing Martina speak to us about stress management was an absolute pleasure. Her presentation was insightful, very knowledgeable and best of all extremely useful. Despite only having a limited amount of time to present it was pack full of great information! The audience of the presentation was graduates and apprentices and she ensured to mention exam related stress which was really helpful and relevant. Participants were able to ask questions throughout which made the whole experience engaging. There were also interactive activities which further added to the presentation. Overall, I highly recommend Martina! See two other reviews from attendees of the presentation below; ‘On Monday morning, Martina Witter, an accredited cognitive behavioural therapist, provided an informative, invaluable presentation covering the topic of coping with stress in the workplace and stress due to exams. Martina was enthusiastic and confident in her approach and began the session by encouraging everyone in the meeting to share how they felt they coped with stress on a number scale. She gave us an understanding of what perpetuates stress and focused on three ways to address them. The three strategies were under the headings of cognitive, behavioural, and physiological. Cognitive strategies included activities like journaling, behavioural strategies included things like setting boundaries and eating healthy and strategies to address physiological stress included activities like relaxation. Having shared ways to reduce stress, Martina guided all who were in the meeting through a meditation which focused on breathing, and noticing 5 things you can see, 4 which you can feel, 3 you could hear, 2 you could smell and 1 which you could taste. Overall, Martina’s presentation was engaging, educational and gave tools to all in the meeting to cope better and reduce stress in the future.’ ‘Mental Health and stress are very important and yet an overlooked part of our daily lives. The Transport for London Graduate and Apprentice were privileged to collaborate with Martina Writer to talk about this important topic, specifically, exam and work-related stress. The talk aimed to make Graduates and Apprentices understand what triggers external and internal stress such as exams and work deadlines, family, relationships, anxiety, and other health conditions and how to use cognitive, behavioural and physiological strategies to manage them. It was very engaging as the speaker interacted with the audience by answering various questions and allowing the audience to participate in a mindful exercise. This was such a great opportunity to also learn how to create a stress relief plan and use techniques like the Eisenhower to prioritize urgent tasks to meet deadlines. In a nutshell, Martina Writer was an amazing speaker and was also willing to help other people who could not communicate their stress issues in the meeting and I would highly recommend talks like this to anyone struggling with stress management.’

Martina has been an incredibly massive part of the 'healing' process throughout many years I have been back and fourth with PTSD I have realised you will never be fully healed with trauma from the past but you can learn to deal with things differently. I could not have done this on my own. Thank you Rapha therapy for helping me realise you can accomplish anything you set your mind on doing.
