I am updating my opinion after a very disappointing experience. Yesterday, as soon as my massage session ended and I was still lying on the bed getting dressed, Sandy took my phone and asked me to leave a review. She stood over me while I was writing it, making sure I posted it. Because of that, any previous positive review under my name should be disregarded, as I did not feel comfortable giving an honest opinion at the time. Unfortunately, I can no longer find that review to remove it. During the massage, I also noticed her repeatedly tearing pieces of the paper covering on the massage bed to blow her nose, which I found very unhygienic and unprofessional. Since the appointment, I have become extremely unwell with flu-like symptoms and severe sinus issues. The right side of my face is swollen, and my body has been aching since the massage. While I cannot say with certainty what caused my illness, the hygiene standards I witnessed during the session left me very concerned. Another uncomfortable aspect of the treatment was that she massaged my breast area without asking for consent or explaining what she was doing beforehand. This caught me off guard and made me feel very uncomfortable. It's disappointing because my first visit to this spa in October last year was excellent, which is why I returned. However, after this experience, I will not be coming back. I believe customers should be able to leave honest reviews without pressure, and professionalism, hygiene, and clear communication should always be a priority.
I had a back massage today here with the lovely Tatiana. Very professional experience from start to finish. As a massage therapist myself I really look forward to a good treatment. Tatiana worked her magic on my tight shoulders and neck. The pressure was fantastic and I’ll definitely be back for more treatments. Thank you Tatiana and Manchester Massage
Such an amazing Thai couples massage with Alina and Nicole! They tailored the massage to focus on sore areas and changed pressure when needed. Wished it could have gone on longer. Highly recommend!
Absolutely Fantastic My partner and I booked for the couples back massage and it was fantastic Greeted by the lovely Tracy who made us feel very welcome We had our treatment by Poppy and Tatiana who I could not thank enough. It was our first time and they made us feel very settled. The treatment itself was first class. Really understood what we required On leaving the amazing Tracy gave us lots of recommendations for returning on how to book. My only complaint is that we can only give a maximum of 5 stars as I would love to give many more. Cannot recommend Manchester Massage enough.
Recommend Manchester Massage very highly!! I had a 2hr oil massage with Nicole who was very skilled. The massage was completely relaxing but with pressure to release the tension in my back. Thanks so much, will be coming back!
I visited for a couples massage with my sister and we both had such a positive experience. I had Kelly and my sister had Dila, and from the moment we arrived they made us feel completely comfortable and at ease. The atmosphere was calm and relaxing, and both therapists were very professional. They only spoke when necessary, either to explain the next steps or to let us know what they were about to do, which made it even easier to fully relax and enjoy the treatment. We both left feeling noticeably better physically and mentally. While we know we’ll need to come back a couple more times to continue the benefits, this visit made a real difference and set a great foundation. Thank you to Kelly and Dila for such a thoughtful, respectful, and relaxing experience we’ll definitely be back! 🌿
Had a couples massage. Can’t remember the name of the girls but they were both great. All the staff were super friendly. Would highly recommend and will definitely go back at some point in the future.
I booked a massage. It was the most thorough massage I've had probably. The only downside was I booked a particular masseuse because the option was there and when I turned up they said she wasn't available. So I guess if you book with someone in particular it isn't a guarantee. It was very good though.
Had a great deep tissue massage from Zara, she was very skilled and professional, got knots I didn't even know I had until she was working on them! Paid for a 1 hour 50 minute massage and got exactly that length, great time keeping. Had a lovely experience. The receptionist is also very funny and polite!
I had Nicole for a deep tissue massage and she was very considerate. I did run a bit late but she managed to give me the full treatment and pretty much the full 50 mins which I really appreciated. Ending was a bit rushed due to another client coming in which is understandable so I didn’t mind. I did leave her a cash tip at the front desk to show my appreciation so I hope she receives it. I will most likely keep coming back to Manchester Massage as they do same day appointments which is convenient for my schedule.
